The Mitt Romney Truth File. FR Keywords: romneytruthfile, slickwillard, mcromney Please tag all relevant threads with the aforementioned keywords. This can be a very high-volume ping list at times. To join the ping list: FReepmail rabscuttle385 with the subject line add romneytruthfile. (Stop getting pings by sending the subject line drop romneytruthfile.) Republican Commissars Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of Romneybots, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless RNC shills who simply want to meet a new overlord. |

Having the first GOP primary in flamingly liberal state like NH is part of the problem. The first primary needs to be moved to a real state instead.

If this is true, it doesn’t sound unwise on his part.
Well maybe a little because if he’s from New Hampshire then winning the primary there will be taken less seriously by the press.

Now, if he would just follow Specter’s lead on party choice, I would be happy to see him run in 2012.

This guy is just a rootless opportunist in every way, no home, no beliefs, not even a party, he goes wherever he sees an opportunity to promote himself for power.

FACTOID OF THE DAY:
As Gov of Massachusetts, Election2008-Spoiler Mitt "Lying Myth" Romney
actually raised taxes on New Hampshire residents.
Now how Romney is that?

Didn’t he buy a house in CA too, fueling speculation he was going for Governor?

He should move to Michigan and run for Governor there.

That’s all we need is a repeat of 2008.
McCain loses in 2000, so it’s “his turn” to run in 2008.
Romney loses in 2008, so it’s his turn to run in 2012.
Enough of these establishment losers.

Romney is a good looking guy who would probably do well based on that alone. And he’d probably get a good deal of votes from the moderates.
But really, why are some people fighting for him NOW? This is the same point I’ve been making in other threads, during the 08 primary and more recently.
During the PRIMARY, we should not only be concerned with “electability” but also ‘CONSERVATISM”.
We can do better, with Palin in the wings and more importantly 4 more YEARS to find a better candidate than Mitt. I mean, he sounds like a nice guy, I’m pretty sure he is, but sheesh, I don’t know why a vocal minority is allowed to promote him NOW, on FR.
Every claim of his conservatism I have seen shot down on FR, with reason and logic. Unless a Romney lover can convince me otherwise, and soon, I think it’s time to drop this guy like a hot potato.

plans to spend time at his summer home on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. . . . Baby steps?
To: rabscuttle385
I thought he was a rootless citizen of, um, Michigan when he walked with MLK, sort of. Or offering the first ever 20 billion dollar pre Bush/Obama bailout? Or was it Utah? or Massachusetts, or California and and New Hampshire. That is when he wasn't a Reagan guy, before he became Mr. Conservative after his life long hunting hunter, er, rabbits on some farm one summer...
Whatever.

Romney the RINO goes to New Hampshire!
He will manipulate the system every way he can.
He’ll say anything.
He’ll turn a blind eye to fraud (fake police).
He’ll change any position.
He’ll try any dirty trick.
He’ll spread money like manure.
He’ll run as a Transgendered Hispanic Female, if it would get him elected.
And if he wins a primary, he will lose the general election
for us again.
He is exactly what is wrong with the Party.

Maybe he’ll run, but just maybe he doesn’t want to pay the onerous taxes Deval “Cadillac” Patrick and the state legislature have jacked up...and will likely continue to jack up until the only people remaining in Massghanistan are the welfare recipients.
