President Obama is distancing himself from the National Day of Prayer by nixing a formal early morning service and not attending a large Catholic prayer breakfast the following morning.

Frankly, I’d rather see the Obamas skip the whole thing than defile the National Day of Prayer with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and a bunch of gay ministers or to make a farce out of the whole occasion. Just declare America godless until 2013. Then, hopefully, we can have a National Day of Repentance after the four years of Obama.
We should oppose his agenda by all means. But though I sympathize, we must ought not dare to condemn someone’s very soul in our hearts.

The farther President Obama distances himself from Christians the better. It will help the Christians who are on the fence to decide against him in the next election.
So does this mean when he's having sex (whatever perversion he prefers) he's busy sreaming out "OH Me! OH Me! OH Me!" ???
I hope Obama does pray every day, I just hope it’s not toward Mecca.
If he does show up at Notre Dame it would be interesting to see if he bows his head in prayer at that event......or will he just show up when it is time for him to bounce Obamungily up upon stage when it is his time.
Notre Dame IMO should just uninvite him period.
I have written the Bishop who is over our diocese and requested he join other bishops in protest of conferring an honorary degree on Obama, (who really hasn't done squat deserving of honors in the legal system, either).

Why is this guy so scared of prayer?
He is not scare of prayer but of the OBJECT of prayer: The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Lord Jesus Christ!
He’s not Catholic. I don’t think he should go anyway.
I’d rather my President be a faithful Christian. Absent that, I guess I’d rather have him be quiet than “act the part” in his particularly unconvincing way.
It's who they're praying to, that bothers him.
Obama is skipping the Catholic Prayer breakfest because he has an early lunch date with Joe over at Rays Hell Burgers Joint.
He mocks those who "cling" to their Bibles.
He boasts America is not a Christian country.
He brags he'll "stand with" the Muslims--against the "ugly" Americans.
His Muslim faith, the 57 states, and so on and so on and scooby doobie doo.
His eyes are dark, angry, and his voice is sarcastic...this comes naturally, he needs no “prompting.” His swagger, the Mussolini tilt of his head, etc, etc, speaks volumes about this man...he is the anti-christ. He is cold, humorless, full of hate and now it’s pay back time for those who are deserving of his wrath. He is godless, while believing he is a god. This is a dangerous man, and God help us, we must unite and work together to defeat this man,and all he stands for....OUR LIVES AND THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY DEMAND IT! Liberty/Freedom-YES! Socialism-NO!
Frankly, I’m perfectly happy that he’s not attending a Catholic Prayer Breakfast. Now if he’d not attend a Catholic Graduation, I’d be doubly happy.
