Professor: Sexual fluidity is not something women can control Lately, a new kind of sisterly love seems to be in the air. In the past few years, Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon left a boyfriend after a decade and a half and started dating a woman (and talked openly about it).

Certainly nothing is new about women having sex with women, but we've arrived at a moment in the popular culture when it all suddenly seems almost fashionable -- or at least, acceptable.

Statistics on how many women have traded boyfriends and husbands for girlfriends are hard to come by. Although the U.S. Census Bureau keeps track of married, divorced, single, and even same-sex partners living together, it doesn't look for the stories behind those numbers.

But experts like Binnie Klein, a Connecticut-based psychotherapist and lecturer in Yale's department of psychiatry, agree that alternative relationships are on the rise.

Simple. We are a decadent country that calls evil good and good evil. We call divorce a good thing. We call living together before marriage a good thing. We call sex outside of marriage a good thing.

That means more men live without morals and commit sin without thinking twice. More men abuse their wives. More men abuse their daughters. More men abuse their nieces. More men abuse their step-children. More men abuse their girlfriend's sister's illegitimate kids who are living with their grandmother.

Every abused child moves the trend forward as abused children are guaranteed to have serious mental and spiritual problems and are much more likely to become abusers themselves when they're of age. Sin begets sin. Its axiomatic.

We are well on our way to creating a hell on earth.

I have never known a homosexual person for whom their sexual acting out wasn't a symptom of a much deeper psychological problem.

Sorry, but if true (and I always doubt Newspaper accounts), then it must be a more permissive and acceptance by society of what is considered non-normal relationships. It probably is just more liberal thoughts about sex in general - and anywhere you can get it is just fine... Not a good sign for a long-lasting society - but, most are on the outs anyway!

We will either be gone or Muslim in another 50 years so might as well have your fun while you can...(standard bull of the left)...

It may be far less taboo for women to be bi in your world but as a woman, it grosses me out. My husband always says, two homo guys, ewww, two girls going at it, not so ewww. For me, the female thing is ickier. Same sex is just icky all around.

Yep it is sick and it is likely to get sicker. I read about this kind of thing in the early 90s so this isn’t new research. The activists just were trying their best to sell the idea that they were born homosexual so the science didn’t matter but it never does with the left. Homosexuals and their cohorts are still just as screwed up as studies prior to the 70s showed them to be. The difference is they have succeeded through a combination of pornography encouraging acceptance of lesbianism by men, feminism offering up rhetoric aimed at making women more hostile to men, and activism aimed to shape attitudes based on emotionalism rather than reason.

I really hate the left and stuff like this reminds me exactly why. They and their cohorts have managed to nearly destroy the greatest nation on earth. They have compromised our morality and sense of personal dignity and thoroughly corrupted ideas about freedom and responsibility. They are digging a grave for America.

Oh that line of arguing by men drives me crazy. Personally, I think when they take that stand, it’s not based on religious morals. I call the male friends and family members who say that it’s not so gross to see 2 women together hypocrites, and that they truly are not against homosexuality. They enjoy seeing 2 women together as long as they are pretty. I tell them to open the bible..
I am not against admiring beauty—but all forms of homosexuality is against God’s law, let alone gross!!! I guess it’s a battle in their minds— IE: some sins are worse than others.
