Unlike Romney's "National Council for a New America," Free Republic is a conservative site!
Refer to Romney's Council for a New American Socialist State formed in HIS Image ^

Thank you for taking the time (again) to explain the obvious in more detail. I wonder if your efforts will go unnoticed (again).

Youre from MA, LOL! Take it easy, surely you jest! You forget where we live!! *********************
I don't forget, which is why I have sympathy for your desire to understand what "rebel" is all about. Yet I'm not sure that there is a plan yet. Some things take time and depend on developments that we may not yet be able to anticipate.

They’re awful because they point out Duncan Hunter’s flaws. It was all a conspiracy, really. The CFG was actually started just to derail the presidential ambitions of Duncan Hunter.
You didn’t know that? :p

If I told you I’d have to kill you. But you might start by checking out the TEA Party Rebellion.

If they don’t embrace conservatism we DON’T vote for them and work to elect conservatives.

I didn't read it that way...FR is going to rebel
You gotta be independent - do what you need to do. Teach someone daily what conservatism is, freep on your own. Make it a lifestyle, not one event.
To: wagglebee
I believe Jim's plan, and again he can correct me if necessary, which I fully support, is to rebel (again a verb) through grassroots efforts (like the tea parties) against liberalism in the GOP and government as a whole. By doing this, we can put pressure on elected Republicans to either support conservatism or be exposed as liberals. This is EXACTLY what Reagan urged Republicans to do in 1975 (I will post a link below) in which he suggested that, "if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way." If the GOP fails to once again embrace conservatism, then it is time to "let them go the way of the Whigs" as Lincoln and other brave men did when the Whigs refused to embrace the most basic conservative issue of that era -- the abolition of slavery.

Another great post, wagglebee.

Say what you like, Romney’s not as bad as Obama. Hell, Hillary! isn’t as bad as Obama. If its to the right of Obama and his cabal, I’ll give ‘em some degree of support.

Apparently you need to reread the posts here pal, Im asking what his plan is for rebelling..........sheesh, youre silly, remedial reading is something you should consider. And You need to re-read the FR home page. Talk of rebellion and overthrow will get you a visit from the Secret Service....

Romney was pro-abort as recently as 1994.
