Jack Kemp would have made a better POTUS than any of the last 4 clowns we’ve had!

You are so right. The only knock I ever heard on Jack Kemp is that he wasn't a great debater, particularly as Dole's running mate in 1996. But he was a great thinker and a decent communicator. Truth be told, I think Reagan would have preferred him on the ticket in 1980, but protocol was to give it to the runner-up to unite the party. G.H.W. Bush was clearly the runner-up.

Walt Cudzik was his center. He grew up in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. His mom & my grandmother were good friends.
Mike McBath was one of his ends. Interesting to note that back during their playing days, it was a game, not a career. Kemp went on to congress. Cudzik & McBath (or were) are both practicing attorneys. They finished their educations, had a few years of fun, then went out and held real jobs!

His economics was the antithesis of the socialism we're suffering under right now.

Unless all of these feelings are sent to the Kemp family aren’t you really pissing into the wind? What is the point until you make a card?

From someone with a (well deserved) reputation as a heartless fkcu, that was crass despite its appeal to rationality.

May he rest in peace and may the Lord comfort his family in their loss.

So you are saying that my sincerest prayer to the Almighty asking for peace and comfort to the Kemp family are worthless?

I am not personally aquainted with the Kemp family, but I do know that my prayers are heard by the Creator of the universe.

According to your remark only Hallmark can deliver.

The good Lord gave him 74 years. He did a great deal with the time he was given. RIP

I met him in person back in the Reagan era and supported him for president in 1988. He was a good guy and an original Reagan man. Not a bad quarterback either. Rest in peace, sir.

A good time to reflect on why most often we don’t choose the best.
