I think these RINOS saw what was happening with the Tea Parties, and wanted to “latch-on”, but it won’t work (unless they change their tunes, and actually become conservatives) becuase they aren’t willing to govern as conservatives, but instead focusing on minor “branding” public relations issues..!

This is the RINO version of a tea party, I can’t believe those in DC would be so dumb as to fall for it!

Perry seems to be good buds with Sarah, is he that much of a RINO?

Yes. Perry is facing a tough 2010 reelection campaign. His strategy seems to be to say a lot of conservative things to appear more conservative than his gubernatorial opponent. Sarah is popular, so Perry says nice things about her. Helps him with Sarah's conservative base.

Former Democrat Perry promotes Perry. Perry endorsed Guiliani back in the primaries. Guiliani is more liberal than Perry's present Republican opponent, Kay Bailey Hutchison. I suspect Perry fancied himself a possible VP running mate for Rudy.

Sad that they missed the point, isn’t it?

Tea parties attacked BIG government, no matter the party!

Sarah’s gotta have a running mate! Brownback or Coburn?

Coburn, maybe.

Brownback caved on too many major issues. He lacks substance, backbone.

[My contention — NO SENATOR for President or Vice President]

I saw a brief news interview with Duncan D. Hunter. He was articulate and impressive. And, in 2012, he will be 36. He could be one to watch.

I’m just appalled that McCain is leading this. Words fail me. I’ve never seen a bigger bunch of idiots that just don’t get it. Jeb Bush is not conservative. None of the Bush’s are. We will never win with this crew in charge.

Cantcha’ smell that SMELL??
Oo-oo, that SMELL
The smell that surrounds you??

One of my favorites is Charles Durning in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

It is right-on about nearly every politician.

I like Dr. Tom, but hasn’t he also done some questionable things while in office? (RINO-wise)

maybe, but I doubt another Texas Governor is the answer. I think Perry’s predecessor pretty much put an end to that

I remember that. Perry did his best impression of the husband in Sleeping With The Enemy. If I was Gov Palin I’d have made sure to check the towels in my hotel room later on.

But Perry is or was head of the RGA, and I think she endorsed him over Hutchison. I think that’s more of just a current Governor supporting a colleague and all that, though.

Well, if Obama fs things up as much as Carter did in his four years, I think she’ll have a very good chance.

That’s what people never mention about Reagan. A lot of conservatives seem to have this notion that he just preached the gospel, and the country ate it up and he won going away. Uh...not quite. He ran against an incumbent who was a miserbale failure. Any republican would have won in 80.

So, if Obama even comes close to approaching Carter’s ineptitude, whoever the GOP nominee is will have a very good chance.

After all she’s been through and with certain family obligations and all though, I don’t know if she’d want to be President. It can be a very thankless job. As we saw with Bush, if she were to win, the left and the media and the democrats would spend every day of the next four years doing their best to personally attack and destroy her, her family, her friends, anyone associated with her. It’s not exactly an appealing proposition.
