The honeymoon is over for Barack Obama - at least, according to Fox.
The U.S. president celebrates his first 100 days in office tomorrow - but one network appears to have finally tired of Obamamania.
The right-wing Fox network has denied a presidential request to show his prime-time news conference tomorrow night.
Instead, the network is sticking with its regularly scheduled programming - in this case, an episode of British actor Tim Roth's drama 'Lie to Me'.
It's the first time a broadcast network has refused Mr Obama's request.
This will be the third prime-time news conference in Mr Obama's presidency.
ABC, CBS and NBC are all airing it.

At least Fox is showing lies with some class.
As well they should. Zero has gotten 28 hours of prime time coverage in his first 100 days. Bush got 8. In fact Zero got more hours on prime time than Cinton and Bush combined!
Overkill is putting it mildly.
I’m going to tune into fictional lies on FOX ...
Great for Fox! This is nothing less than a very lightly veiled political self promotion. I'd rather see Roth's lies than hear more lies from the Usurper in Chief, 0bammy!
So true
This is nothing unusual. Fox also denied airtime to President Bush and even on a more important occasion, soon after 9/11! Obummer’s ego is in overdrive. He is very much like becoming the national leader in George Orwell’s 1984 and that should be a scary scenario for even his most ardent supporters (if you read the book you know what I mean).
Silly Brits. I don't know much about British television stations, but I don't try to write articles about them either.
One can make a credible case that the FoxNews network is "right-wing", but the Fox network is an entertainment channel without any discernable political agenda.
Unless you consider such fare as The Simpsons, American Idol, Dollhouse, Family Guy, etc. to be "right-wing."
Was it news when ABC denied Bush?
Right on the mark, and they will have huge ratings.
Exactly. Especially when you think of how little TV time W actually requested as opposed to this poser.
“ABC, CBS and NBC”
Who are they?
TV stations or something?
LOL
Don't they know the difference between Fox and Fox News?
This will be the third prime-time BS conference in Mr Obama’s presidency.
I used to love the Simpsons but stopped watching them years ago when a blatant left wing bias was creeping into the themes. In one stretch, they had like 3 anti-Iraq war episodes in a row.
So we have two choices that night, “Lie To Me” or “Lie To Us.”
Let’s all WATCH FOX during that TIME!! Make it a MOST WATCHED STATION that hour... and be sure and email them and let them know you appreciate them....at least this time!
