Large flocks of snow geese join year-round resident Canada geese at the sanctuary in winter....all in spittin’ distance from JFK. Before the city capped them, The Fountain and Pennsylvania Ave. landfills (Brooklyn) were home to enormouse flocks of seagulls. These are adjacent to JFK flight paths.
Does all that stuff come from Mexico?

Talking about a “Slobbering Love Affair”!
A co-worker just popped in my office to tell me that he went to DC this weeekend. He said he and his kids ran into the big IMF protest.
I saw some footage of that over the weekend. I remember seeing a masked protester wearing an Obama t-shirt. Apparently some of the protesters tried to pepper spray the police, and the wind blew the spray back in their faces.
Well, I guess I can try. Who has the ping list?
