The plan is expected to be formally announced in a 9:00 AM news conference

Actually, we have considered selling one car (my baby) for the next Prius if it’s Lexus-like and can get that 100 mph. We definitely do not want a podcar, since it looks like it would turn you into a sandwich or steak tartar in a wreck—Of course, you might just fly out of the side. Also, I if I want a car that goes as fast as a golf cart, I’ll get a golf cart.

You know, I have really hunted around to find any kind of stimupork money starting anything. 0bama went to central Ohio to celebrate the graduation of 20-30 police cadets, who turned out to be funded from previous money. It was hysterical. To paraphrase that darling little old lady in the Wendy's commercial, Where's the dough? I don't think there's any money back there.

Will there be protests to demand that Pontiac be retained and that GM get rid of one of the three lines named after Frenchmen (Chevrolet, Buick, & Cadillac) or the initial only brand, GMC!

I once drove a Pontiac Phoenix. Which was the same as the Chevy Caviler. Which was the same as a Cadillac Cimmaron. Which was the same as the Oldsmobile Omega. Which was the same as the Buick Skylark. (More or less.)

I think the Phoenix was Pontiac's version of the Chevy Citation, my friend's family had one. Still I do see some over duplication of the same cars. I think we could trim there. It's like Ford with the Taurus and Mercury Sable. I'd dump the Sable. If you want a nifty light up bar in the middle, I know people that will fix you up with one. If I was GM, I hate to cut Pontiac but I guess it is the way to go plus I'd dump GMC, let Chevy make the trucks.

Buick is the number one brand in all of china. Kill buick in the US and bye bye china where gm actually makes about 400 million US dollars a year.

In the US, Pontiac outsells buick. Buick did outsell Olds at the time of its death though.

Well even one further, look on TV there days the commercials and programming. I have absolutely zero against anyone with more melanin in their skin than me, but hip hop gansta African American culture as a whole it’s pretty useless. Even some prominent Black intellectuals like Sowell and Walter Williams agree with this world view, it’s celebrating the criminal and ignorant.
