WASHINGTON (AP) - U.S. officials will begin asking travelers about illness if they're entering the country from areas with confirmed swine flu.

They are telling schools to be prepared to shut down, but they won’t close the border.
The CDC says “It’s impossible to contain” (so we won’t bother trying.)
What do we do with a US citizen who thinks they are sick trying to return home? Ban them from their own country? Is that constitutional?
The one that I, a US citizen, had to argue my way through last week as I tried to get home to Ohio from Canada. It was ridiculous. I was arrested 10 years ago for disorderly conduct (during a divorce.) $100 fine, no probation, no jail. This popped up on their screens in Houlton, ME of all places. They actually took me to an interrogation room for an explanation.
"Homeland Security" is a joke.
“The CDC says Its impossible to contain (so we wont bother trying.)”
That’s pretty much the excuse the open border crowd has been using successfully for illegal immigration.
WHAT the hell good is THAT?
Just about everything I read lately raises my blood pressure. BO and his ilk will celebrate when they cause FrogMom to stroke out.
I live in Arizona, I’m expecting a zombie attack from the south.
It's the same poppy cock as standing at the ticket counter at the airport and these bozos asking questions like;
Are you the person to pack these bags?
Have these bags been in your possession while traveling?
What non sense
Cough Cough no and that is a racist question.
Heads are going to roll if an outbreak is traced to illegal alien.

My brother and his wife, who live in Germany, are coming home for a visit in three weeks. I have much trepidation about what the world will be like in that short time. Time will tell. Part of me thinks this who hysteria is smoke and mirrors courtesy of 0 and company. Who knows?

who = whole. Geez, WHO on the mind or something. LOL
The knee jerk reaction to an incident is to pass another law. Rarely do lawmakers look at the possibility that existing laws were broken.
Example: the current banking mess.
If a person is determined to get across the border, they’re not going to tell them they’ve been sick or exposed to anyone who is sick. They might as well ask them if they’re axe murderers.
Close the border (the southern one) to any non-citizens and patrol it heavily, shoot to kill.
Do we have any freepers in Mexico? It would be nice to have some real updates from people that live there.
No, they'll either blame it on the students who traveled to Mexico for spring break or something else. Blaming it on the illegals would be *racist* and politically incorrect, so that's NOT going to happen.
How about using Japanese techniques (infra-red cameras to detect elevated temperatures) or would that be “invasion of privacy; racial quotas; torture, etc?”
