The money paragraph to which Drudge links (Bloomberg):
"The first case was seen in Mexico on April 13. The outbreak coincided with the President Barack Obama’s trip to Mexico City on April 16. Obama was received at Mexico’s anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archeologist who died the following day from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported. The newspaper didn’t confirm if Solis had swine flu or not."

Never heard of a flu virus that kills in 24 hours. 48 hours maybe, more likely 72 - 96, but 24 seems a little aggressive for the flu. Unless the victim had a compromised immune system.

I have heard of reports of people going from asymptomatic to dead in less than 24 hours in the 1918 pandemic. Rare, but not unheard of.

It’s been 9 days. If he doesn’t get sick within the next 5 days or so, he didn’t get it. I imagine they already have him on meds just in case. The anti-virus meds can make some people almost as sick as the flu. I would hate to think the Kenyan wasn’t feeling well. /s

Muslims arriving in Mexico from the middle east probably brought some strange variant of the virus that is cross-breeding with the Mexican swine type.
This is something else; a bird — swine — influenza A subtype H1N1 virus; supposedly a worst case scenario.
Your ironic comment may be closer to the truth than you think. The CDC is thinking this is something genetically engineered from all the weird components.
