What’s the deal with May 11th? What happens then?

The way this guy is talking, we’re gonna see blood in the streets.

The biblical prophets speak of the beast from the sea... I hear rumors of the great one being born at sea...

Which prophesy is that? The “great one”? Thanks.

Emanuel looks evil!

Emanuel IS evil! Zero is his ButtBuddy! They are all rising from the crypt!

...Emanuel was appointed to Freddie's board in 2000 by President Bill Clinton, for whom he had worked as White House political director. It was a highly lucrative appointment for the veteran political hand, netting him at least $320,000 for 14 months of work.

What exactly he did to justify that windfall remains a source of controversy. Emanuel only attended a handful of meetings and did not serve on any of the board's working committees, the Tribune reports. His greatest value was his extensive political experience, a particularly important attribute at a time when Freddie was facing threats of greater congressional regulation, according to Tribune reporters Bob Secter and Andrew Zajac... -CBSNews

"Barter items may be better than cash. A 10# bag of loose SILVER coins, bags of coffee, sugar, or other staples, and of course, lead, are all needed items and can easily barter!

FYI, a few of the essentials I've accumulated are: Expedition tent, Grain Mill, Air rifle, Solar cell, packs, GPS, Maps, Best water filter Katadyn makes, axes, machete, knives, rechargeable batteries, camping essentials, 6 months food for now, silver coins, ready cash safely stashed, ammo for the big guns and still accumulating. :-)

Praying of course that it will not be needed except for recreation or normal use!

The market dropped today because the fantastic bank profits posted were seen to be accounting sleight of hand. China and India want the IMF to sell all 3200+ tonnes of gold (so they can dump their worthless dollars)and foreign purchase of our debt instruments is beginning to fall toward that looming cliff.

Copper and soybeans (I believe) are now in 'backwardation .... gold and silver are close to the same condition ..... and once that happens, it'll probably be too late to buy either. IMHO

Other than those few items (and a few others) everything's just peachy.

Is today going to be the 4th stock market crash in the past 11 months?

I meant fat lazy liberal babyboomers. I’m very sorry. I swear, I only meant libeal babyboomers.

Then why limit it to baby boomers, or fat ones for that matter? Why not just lazy liberals. Or just lazy people in general? Plenty of those from every demographic.

'What’s the deal with May 11th? What happens then?"

Several things happening around that time that might trigger a bank run. But no one knows for sure when something like that may if ever occur. Better safe than sorry for not taking a few precautions though.

I agree that being prepared is important, but keep in mind, this information was leaked by Hal Turner and his radio network. They are known to be antisemitic, and some claim that they are Jersey white supremacists. It seems to be information that is coming from people who I disagree with on a moral and philosophical level.

How true either is... I don’t know. I’m just cross referencing sources and trying to make sense of this all. I’m sure we’ll see soon enough, but in the end, our Trust should be in Jesus, and not in a government institution or a banking system.

Maybe the report is or isn’t true. Either way, be prepared for the worst, but pray for the best!

Because liberal babyboomers are particularly nasty critters that destroy everything and celebrate the destruction of all things living. In addition, they corrupt the minds of young people to celebrate things that destroy rather than build.

I have 1200 watts worth of PV cells on the RV. Rechatgable batteries are a MUST. I also bought two 50 packs of Bic lighters (10 free!), solar oven, and SEEDS! Deer and turkey around here will keep me in meat. Squirrel stew will be good for a while, but I've got neighbor's with 22's, too! I live on 20 acres, and neighbors have 20-200 acres. I planted a garden for the first time in 40 years. I also bought 240 mason jars at Wally world last week, with 1200 lids!

I've been praying, too, but putting feet to the prayers is prudent!

I’d say that applies to most liberals, not just the boomers, and particularly to young libs.

Older libs grew into that mindset.
Younger libs grew up with it being taught to them.

"Copper and soybeans (I believe) are now in 'backwardation' .... gold and silver are close to the same condition ..... and once that happens, it'll probably be too late to buy either. IMHO"

Backwardation

"Backwardation is a futures market term describing a situation where the amount of money required for future delivery of an item is lower than the amount required for immediate delivery of that item. For example, immediate delivery of gold may cost $1,000 an ounce, whereas delivery in two months only costs $900 an ounce, with that $900 to be paid at time of delivery."

There are two beasts described in Revelation 13; the First Beast arises out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns. The Second (Lamb-like) Beast arises out of the earth, having the appearance of a lamb while speaking like a dragon. This Beast exercises authority on behalf of the first beast, causing the Earth-dwellers to make an image of the First Beast, and worship him. It is able to give life to this image so that it could speak and kill anyone who doesn't worship the First Beast. This Beast is later called “The False Prophet” (Rev. 16:13; Rev. 19:20; Rev. 20:10) and together with the Dragon and the First Beast forms the unholy trinity.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the book of Revelations - but that's just me...
