Does Media Bias get much worse than this?
Posted on 04/16/2009 8:13:29 AM PDT by MNDude
At the St. Paul Tea party, there were from 5,000 to 10,000 tea partiers.
That day, there were less than a dozen pro tax liberals. Look which WCCO gave talking time to:

You’re absolutely right. They are so in the tank, not just for Obama, but for the Democrats/PC crowd for decades. Not once have I ever seen the media describe “racism” or “sexism” in anything other than in terms of white racism or male sexism. Likewise, homosexuals are always perceived as normal/mainstream and always victims. The scourge of HIV/AIDS should’ve been a wake up call for condemnation of that lifestyle, instead it was turned into a battle cry for their “rights.”

Well, if there’s a (D) in orifice. At other times, dissent is what makes America strong, the ultimate in patriotic self-expression.

The people of Boston, after their 1773 Tea Party in the harbor, were treated with the utmost contempt, blockaded, invaded, nearly starved off the planet. They were only saved by their faith, their commitment to right and to freedom, their endurance, and finally, after several years, by the sacrificial actions of their fellow lovers of liberty.
Why would anyone here think that today’s tyrants will respond to demands for liberty and justice any differently?

Frustrating, disgusting, reprehensible...I agree. We can only hope that a few people witnessed the large crowds or heard about the crowds and were surprised by the lack of coverage. We have to believe that we were successful in showing people who happened to see the tea parties with their own eyes that this was a real event. The lack of media coverage might make one or two people who follow the MSM only realize that the credibility of the alphabet news is questionable. We now know without any doubt that the alphabet news is totally biased and it is up to us to spread the word in any way that we can. It is hard to discredit them when they have done such an extraordinary job themselves. They wonder why their subscriptions have tanked. When they ignore and mock the small business owners and average joes who used to buy their product and advertise in their product, they have committed suicide...it wasn't murder, which they will soon claim.

Where did you get that 800k number? I heard that last night on one of the local Atlanta stations. They said that there were 15-20 thousand at the Atlanta Tea Party and showed the pictures that looked to me like that was a valid estimate. There were a lot of celebrities and politicians at the Atlanta event, including Sean Hannity.

"Their bias has been off the charts. I watched a couple of minutes of Queef Olberwoman last night and he was his typical pathetic self. He showed a small clip of a TP participant being interviewed and the poor guy had obviously suffered a stroke at some point and had slurred speech. Queef made fun of him and said he was talking like he had a mouth full of marbles. No shame what-so-ever." That's why I would have simply avoided ANY and ALL interviews...

The media thinks were knuckle dragging right wingers - Every time I see the media, I always think " these are the guys who were, at best, C students and never could quite grasp any involved concepts. That's why they went into journalism, communications, etc.". I would venture to say that the average IQ and education level of those of us that are referred to as "right wing" is far superior to the left.

Duh. If you’re smart, you will come to conservatism. Only someone stupid would think the concepts of liberalism workable, and only someone with no moral compass would try to advance them without believing in them.

I think Rush said almost 200k....from some research firm.
But I don't know....
Doesn't matter really....As the Obama Networks wouldn't cover it if it was 2 million people.....

Yeah, I love how there’s ONE network that, depending on your perspective is either right wing, or neutral, or just less left wing than the other FIFTY networks, and that’s where Doh-bama goes to make sure there won’t be any bias in election coverage! If I were Rupert Murdoch or Roger Ailes or whoever O met with, I’d shake his hand and assure him with a big smile that my network would be at least as unbiased as all the rest. You don’t know exactly how to take that and you can’t really object either because it would show how ridiculous you’re being there in the first place really is.
