Thanks for starting this, we are really wondering what the numbers will be as well.

Our tea party starts at 5:30 pm PST, so I will post a head count when we return.

Too bad the MSM isn’t in charge of estimating. The numbers would be in the millions already.

Local radio here in San Antonio estimated the Alamo Plaza crowd at 15,000 . . . . . 45 minutes before the rally officially begins.

Huge turn out in San Antonio at the Alamo. News channels are ignoring all the tea parties so numbers are still out - Pics Here

Great idea.

While you're at it, please give us an estimate of the number of shop windows that Tea Party attendees smashed with rocks, how many attendees were arrested for disorderly conduct, how many cars were overturned and set on fire, approximately how much tear gas was needed to disperse the crowd, etc.

Duluth Mn - Paper reports 700. I think more like 1000.

For one thing people were coming and going the whole time. If you counted the people who spent SOME time there I bet it was more like 1200

Local Nashville TN radio host (WLAC), Steve Gill, was at our Tea Party. He said that those who know these things estimated 10,000.

We just got back from our rally in the state capitol of Washington state (Olympia). We are guessing a couple thousand, maybe three thousand were in attendance. My friend who works at the capitol said they haven't seen a bigger crowd.

State patrol was taking video of the crowd and there was a guy on the capitol roof taking photos of us because we are so dangerous (i.e. Homeland Security Report). It was a beautiful day here and there were people from every walk of life and from both parties. People young and old. Lots of kids. It was great! Let's keep the pressure on!

Kristinn, you'll not get a number from (guessing) 50 percent of those held, unfortunately.

But, to keep this short, I'm betting over 2 million people contributed by the end of the day.

(Just a SWAG by multiplying 2000 sites by an average of over 1000 each. It could be that the average is much greater. I suggest you average all that report, and do the multiplication. ~grin~)
