I'm hoping to be able to ascertain an overall national figure of attendance at the tea parties today by asking Freepers to post their crowd estimates on this thread.
I'm also asking that the thread be kept to just the numbers, no photos, etc., but if you want to link back to photos in your crowd estimate that's fine.
Please give the location and number of participants.
I'll go first:
Melbourne, FL - 1000.
Elmira, NY 20
Binghamton, NY 50
Gouverneur, NY 50
Kingston, NY 100-120
You’re Welcome! Also Corning had 1000 people, and had 687 volunteers sign up from that crowd, which is probably where the 700 figure came from.
Grenada, MS 100-150
Batesville, AR 100
Bella Vista, AR 200-250
Conway, Ar 150-200
Lafayette, Indiana 850 total
Folks, this thing is bigger than we even thought. Keep those reports coming in. If you know of, or hear of, a tea party, check Henchster’s list to see if it has been listed.
He is doing a great job of coordinating the information. We want the largest numbers we can get before we start putting it out to the media.
Searcy, AR 600
Monticello, AR 200
Paragould, AR 200 not 100
Merced, CA 200-250
Stockton, CA 200-250
Yucaipa, CA 200-250
Bay County, FL 100-150 Seems to be different than the Panama City one.
Another nice grouping there! Refresh the Roll Call page, and check out the new max number - within 100k of 1 million!
Inverness, FL 1000
New Port Richey, FL 200
Wauseon, OH - 350
Henchster, I really believe that yours is the most comprehensive chart out there. Let’s keep it going until there are no more reports coming in. Then we can shoot it out to the conservative media.
BUMPTY BUMP
Parsons, KS — 100
I just talked with the lady who help organize many of the SE Kansas events. Here are the numbers she gave me.
Pittsburg, KS — 750-1000 (local paper reported 700)
Fort Scott, KS — 215 people signed
Iola, KS — 250 -300
Independence, KS — 137 signed in, 150 attended
Mound City, KS — 80
Chanute, KS —60
Dodge City, KS — 120 (the 20 is incorrect, it was my original estimate before I found a newspaper article)
Dodge City, KS — 120
“The audience of about 120 were appreciative and responsive.”

The picture at the link cleary shows far more than 20.
You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE, if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Forest Grove, OR 60-80
McMinnville, OR 300
Newport, OR 200
Tillamook, OR 150
Still no figures for Milton Freewater, O.S.U. campus, Reedsport.
No figures for Sag Harbor and Windham, NY.
No figures for Okanogan, Colfax, Wenatchee, Tacoma, and Redmond/Woodinville, WA.
Try going to the web site of the local newspapers of those places. If you can find an article or ad about the impending tea party, there might be a phone number to call for information. Call that number. That is the way I got the count for Beckley, WV, and met a very nice lady in the bargain.
We are now at 896 events, in EVERY state, and can document no less than 786,000 and as many as 910,000 patriots took part protesting Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.
You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE, if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
One last bump to see if there are any more reports.
