Wednesday, April 15, 2009

I'm hoping to be able to ascertain an overall national figure of attendance at the tea parties today by asking Freepers to post their crowd estimates on this thread.
I'm also asking that the thread be kept to just the numbers, no photos, etc., but if you want to link back to photos in your crowd estimate that's fine.
Please give the location and number of participants.
I'll go first:
Melbourne, FL - 1000.

We are now over 700 events, in EVERY state, and can document no less than 719,000 and as many as 830,000 patriots took part protesting Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme. You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE, if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Henchster, I'm sorry I fell down on the job. My computer went on the fritz, and just got the new router in tonight. I see you have most of the parties in WV, but still missing Beckley. I couldn't find a count anywhere, but I did find a phone number for information on the party, so I will call in the morning and get a count. There may have been some more small towns that had parties, but I haven't heard about them. I think we will have the state covered when we get the Beckley count.
It looks like people are still reporting in. I wonder if it will cross the million mark. How long do you figure it will take to get all the reports? I'm so anxious to get our "list" out to FOX and Rush. Looking at all those cities make one realize just how huge this thing was and we should not let anyone get away with saying it was nothing.

I would say that if anyone wants to "advance" the Roll Call page
LINK, to any of the major media outlets, go ahead. We may just shake out other Tea Parties and get some extra reports that might have been missed. If anybody wants to start, I think it's a good time, since we have three times the MSM numbers already.

Let’s wait one more day. It looks like a lot are still coming in. We need to keep this thread bumped up. BTW, thank you for doing this.
