I'm hoping to be able to ascertain an overall national figure of attendance at the tea parties today by asking Freepers to post their crowd estimates on this thread.
I'm also asking that the thread be kept to just the numbers, no photos, etc., but if you want to link back to photos in your crowd estimate that's fine.
Please give the location and number of participants.
I'll go first:
Melbourne, FL - 1000.
Here’s a good site with daily newspaper links. I’ve been combing through them getting the numbers I’ve been posting. I’m off to bed. I’m still tired from yesterday, lol.

Belmar, NJ - 400 (official Asbury Park Press)
Hey Kristinn! We’re back in the game....I was at the Phila. rally and agree with the 350-400 estimate. (P.S. The AP got a picture of me with two of my signs AND MY VINTAGE FREEPER HAT from our days at 1600 PA Ave.)
D28Man and son joined me for the 6-8PM rally at Phoenixville PA., and I would guess we had 200 - 250 there. It was at the busiest intersection in town at drive time and we had an overwhelming number of thumbs-up honks and waves - and from all ages and a wide diversity of ethnicity. New Americans know the true value of what we are losing; they’re clearly not about to let us throw away what they worked so hard to get here for.
I never watch local news. Can’t stomach it. I peeked at pilot online and they had a small article. Glad y’all could go.
Thanks for the post.
My unofficial estimate gathered from threads on FR is that
nearly two million loyal and patriotic Americans attended tea parties yesterday.
Obama, MSM, and other sycophants—be afraid! Be very afraid!
800 patriots showed up in Livingston, Texas. Population 5000. Pretty good turnout.
Gering, NE
300 people
Thanks for the ping.
Cape May, NJ— 85 to 100 people
Local rag didn’t report it but eye witness acount here.
I don’t know if you are still collecting numbers, but the estimate for Indianapolis, per the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and the crowd control officials, is between 12,000 and 15,000 people. I was there...it looked to be at least that. Took forever to clear the traffic.
Our newspaper put the number at 2,000. Just a little off don’t you think!!!
Seal Beach California, about 250 people.
I'm a married mother of 3 (grandmother of 1) and I went alone since hubby was working and I didn't want to bring the kids in case things got ugly. Never once did I feel threatened by anyone in the crowd. It was a fun, family friendly gathering.
Of course there was the nice lady - that after talking to her for a few minutes - I realized was a bit "off". She started telling me about the Clinton's bugging her phone and making it ring every 15 minutes and how they buzzed her house with a helicopter at all hours of the day and night. *sigh*
Oh yeah, and there was the car that drove by with the passenger covering her dog's eyes. Guess she was afraid the poor thing would be told the truth! LOL
Hubby and I were there, but we didn’t advertise our Freeperness in any way, so I’m sure there were other Freepers there too, just keeping it on the down low. It was really cool to have a voice for a change, tho!
Great! Glad you had a good time fellow rightwing extremist...I got a kick out of the big rig 18-wheelers leaning on their air horns and laughed at how easy it was to get a “DUMP REID” chant going. Good to see Congressman Heller in attendance and supporting the rally. He seems like a good guy.
Cheers,
At least 500 in Bryan, TX!
We heard on the local tv news, that the Bryan/College Station area had 3 tea parties going on. One of them on the Texas A&M campus.
However, the only number count I can come up with is 500 at one of those events in Bryan. The local police made that estimate, by the way.

Chattanooga crowd was estimated at 2000 by the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, the local daily newspaper.
