It would be nice if Specter was Republican for one day.
And the Republican leadership has done NOTHING to punish this traitor? They even intend to support him against Toomey?
They are nuts. Suicidal. Out to lunch.
What a shameless whore twit. He’s 80 f’n years old someone needs to tell him to just retire already. He’s done enough damage.
Maybe he could lead by example.
Words fail me.
Like Spector has failed his party and his country.
Someone get Sen. Cornyn on the phine. He will need to change his fundraising letter mentioning Sen. Spector.
Wish I could be Pennsylvanian for a day to I could vote for his primary challenger.
Someone should send this to Cornyn.
What Mr. Spectre needs to do is to change to the Democrat party he so desperately seeks help from.
Stop the masquerade you sorry excuse for a human and join the Democrat party.
No clear thinking Republican can vote for this man in good conscience and Cornyn is a damned fool for thinking Spectre will vote with Republicans when the chips are down.
Spectre is a two faced Democrat registered as a Republican.
No need. The Republicans have become Democrats.
Arlen, I love ya, man, but it’s easier to turn Republicans into Democrats than the other way around. Because it’s easier to do a lobotomy than it is to make the brain tissue grow back.
This is how the scumbag pulled it off the last time.
Republicans NEED to rethink their party rules.
McCain is what happens when we let the Democrats select our Presidential Nominee.
He should just switch to the Democrat party (he acts like one so why not join them). Then he could run against the Republican.
You forgot craven.
So Specter, what do you want on your grave marker, just “Traitor” or did you want your full name included?
That would be Benedict Arlan Sphincter.
He’d be better off saying that he was going to become a DEm for one day - election day. He could certainly run as a Dem with no irony, considering his policies. However, he’s probably not Lefty enough for the Dems now....
Arlen, looks like you’re SOL. Too bad, so sad.
The NRSC has made it a policy for decades that in the event of an incumbent GOP senator being challenged in the primary, they will always support the incumbent Senator - regardless of whether the incumbent Senator is a liberal Republican or a conservative Republican.
I’m not saying it’s right. I’m not saying it’s wrong. It’s simply their policy.
