WASHINGTON — FBI agents planned to interview the crew of a U.S. cargo ship Saturday as the bureau began building a criminal case against Somali pirates who attacked the ship and took the captain hostage.

The Maersk Alabama arrived safely in Yemen on Saturday, three days after Somali pirates stormed the ship, failed to hijack it, and fled in a lifeboat with the captain.

"The FBI has informed us that this ship is a crime scene," John Rhinehart, president of Maersk Shipping Line said Saturday, explaining why crew members cannot immediately leave the ship.

Yeah, this’ll work! I can’t imagine being questioned by the FBI after an incident like this. Who is kidding who here? I’d probably be inclined to tell the nice special agent not to waste my time.

Have they read the pirates their rights? Wouldn’t want the case to be thrown out on a technicality.

Did the crew have something to do with this?

Building a case ! Against who ? The crew ? This whole episode is laughable . The US Navy stopped by 6 knuckle draggers and a raft .

It’s an act of war, not cops and robbers. Obama’s Administration is populated by idiots and tax cheats.

Even if this was all military, the brass would have those servicement debriefed, if they were involved in any kind of action like this. It’s not something out of the ordinary. It’s to be expected.

By doing this, you also can find out something that can help in the future.

Clinton took this route with the first World Trade bombing.

He managed to give us the second World Trade disaster because the Muslims saw how ineffectual the Americans were.

Thanks, Zero. We are on the mark and countdown for another serious attack.

*I didn’t vote for this clown and seriously doubt he won without fraud.

Throw the FBI agents over the side. They’re only there to stir up trouble and charge people with trumped up crap. The crew did the right thing by throwing the pirates over the side. Pirates have no rights, they’re pirates.

Not yet, but I do hear Obama is reviewing this...

Besides the obvious posted above-why wait for four days to start interviewing the crew ?
Maybe the crew had some valuable info to impart.
The delay is bizarre.
But, typical of TOTUS.

You said — JIMMY CARTER ALL OVER AGAIN.

Actually, you might be surprised after you look at my list...

A previous post of mine below...

Well, an interesting thing happened on the way to Free Republic for me, yesterday..., it just started with a simple post yesterday and two little items on it... I never intended for the following list to come about... LOL...

Here’s where it all started, and then some FReepers started giving me some more events.. :-)

THEN... it turned into this...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2226437/posts?page=43#43

It’s a good comparison of what Obama is doing now, and you can compare it to what Reagan did in his terms in office (Oh wow!...)...

Back to the 9/10/01 mentality.

Sure, arrest them. If you can find them. Oh, wait, no jurisdiction.
Oh, well, give them a million dollars or two, and apologize for trying to arrest them.

The FBI now investigates acts of piracy in Africa? LOL

Terrorism I imagine is also now a law enforcement issue?

This is what happens when clueless people are elected to fill the position of Commander in Chief or as Obama called it, “Commander of Chiefs.”

He's a clueless man who lacks the insight, experience, and character to do the right thing. His failure as President is nearly guaranteed, although he will attempt to sell himself and spin his failures the entire time he's in office. Obama feels more comfortable on the campaign trail than making decisions reference pirates, Iraq, or much else for that matter. That's why you'll see him on TV every night, why he'll spend lots of time in Europe where they love him and he can make beautiful speeches degrading the US with all the cliche arguments many Europeans want to believe.......... Welcome to the Obama show.
