If true, the fact that this thing didn't fall over on the launch pad and spin around in circles until it fizzled out means that their missile-guidance technology is getting better.

Don't doubt that this technology didn't came from the ChiComs, which came from Slick Willy Clinton and his friends at Space Systems/Loral.

Anyone who voted for him last November should be forced to reflect on this deeply (but they wont, for most of them are not programmed to “think”.)

Here’s a preview: “Look how his pecs glisten in the light from the nuclear fireball!”

I still think they are aiming for the birth certificate!

I don’t believe we’ve seen a full size nuke go off in North Korea, much less a miniature one. That would have to be supplied by somebody else in the Axis of Evil. I’d bet on Iran, assuming Israel doesn’t glass them over after the first test of any device in Iranian territory.

Iranian VIPs in North Korea today in the viewing launch stands at Musudanri Village must be pleased. I would imagine they are in shuttle busses and limousines back to their hotels in Pyongyang as we speak (three more hours of sunlight). There will be a long of Kaesong ginseng wine broken out tonight in P-town. Maybe even some kipmujong North Korean "dancing girls" and "party hostesses" will be pressed into extra "service" tonight before the Iranian delegation heads back to Teheran in the next few days with all the telemetry and data.

Don't worry, WWIII isn't about to start over that little pipsqueak in Pyongyang.

Agreed, but slipping the little SoB a few nukes, airburst over Pyongyan and Wonson, would be be very satisfying, would it not? Failing that, send some B-2s and F-22s, with GPS guided bunker busters to take out whatever seems to need taking out.

Our guys bleed and die and get filleted and busted up six ways from jump—the US saves the world, feeds the world, fights the world’s bad guys, and ‘our’ guy’s rep talks about not knowing “what kind of missile it was” and calls this a “dust up” like it’s jack $hi’ite.

Meanwhile, that 3 am call is made to some0ne that disses the US overseas and sells out our economy, financial system and future. Add to that the snake oil being sold to Israel while playing spin the bottle with Iran over Afgpak and we at home are supposed to hurry up and watch NCAA BB?

Go in, kill the monkey and turn it into Disney Asia!

I think we tried that once before and it costs us thousands of lives and we ended up fighting the Chinese. The monkey is not the problem. Its the organ grinders that are the problem (China, Pakistan and Iran).

I’d settle for tying the monkey down and feeding the starving people. If China wants it after that, they’re welcome to it.

Have at it.

The last time the Japanese "had at" Korea and China, things got pretty nasty. And we lost a lot of good men. I lost an uncle that was shot down over Japan, and his remains are still there. Will Zero back out of the contract that cost so many American lives?

So we are not going to shoot the Israeli planes down. That is good news. Thought the mindset was that the US would defend the Iraqi airspace from all hostile incursions. We still have 10’s of thousands over there being protected by a land based and sea based cap.

OK Class of 1998, THIS is scary:

Yep, headed right for Los Angeles. The jet stream would carry the fallout from a nuke strike there all across the country.

What did the Obama administration do to protect the U.S. citizenry?

Spot on. I often wonder why China, Japan and SK don't just march in and divide the place up. It seems NK exists to keep the USA on edge. No other logical reason for such a stone aged place to continue to exist in a vibrant Asian economy.
