I didn’t see a couple of names either, but they could be among the many good, banned in some of the purges.

ok the only interesting nugget there was that the first stage burned out and landed like 150 miles west of Akita Prefecture, which is in northern Japan. So that part burned out pretty quickly —not unusual, cuz that’s still boost-phase stuff.

Really good Twitter info!
Thanks.

It takes 33 minutes or less to get there (that figure might be to the West Coast), so if they had a nuke in it headed for Honolulu you would not be writing as of this time—if you get my drift. This bird let the pad about 1 hour and 5 minutes ago.

I was in the third grade then. Anyone in school back then remembers the drills. Line up in the hallway facing the wall, on knees, head down, hands over head. (Like that would have saved us from a nuke). We did that in the 1960s. We were 12 miles from NYC. Fat lotta good it would have done.

SNPPET: The report below by CNNs Jim Clancy makes it clear why this really matters. It is not just the threat of North Korea using such a rocket to deliver a nuclear payload, but the fact that they sell arms to Iran, Pakistan and whoever will pay them the cash:Showing off capability for their customer base.

I can see how the PM would be scorched that NK almost dropped their junk right on top of Japanese heads.

He’ll wait until his teleprompter is ready and loaded.
He doesn’t like the getting up early part of being President, he likes the gift giving and attention of being the ‘new guy’.

Every day. Karl is Really smart, I have learned a lot from his forum. Sadly the truth is very depressing. I wish we could make him treasury secretary.
