It is with out a doubt that a majority of Americans believe “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1. Unfortunately, most who believe these words cannot answer the questions raised by the thousands of fossils that archeologist's have dug up and claim are millions of years old. ...

"TToE meets all criteria of a scientific theory. If you need me to list those then you speaking on a subject of which your are unaware."

Except any "proofs" (facts and observations) to advance the theory.

In fact there are more facts and observations (proofs) which make TTOE even less likely than when it was first announced.

And you can study all the fossils you like, NONE have EVER proven “evolution”. An ant is an ant today as it was “a billion” years ago.

>>My question is when are those who believe in evolution going to read the scientific findings of those who disagree with evolution?

Name one. Your Unicorn Carving is not a finding.

>>For 50 years I been force fed every item of proof that evolutionists have to back up their theory. Yet I have yet to meet one evolutionist who will admit he reads the scientific proof behind the debunking of evolution.<<

Because there is none. The idea that there are alternative explanations for a given artifact or finding is a given in science. It does NOT undermine TToE. The fact that Plitdown Man was a hoax doesn’t in one tine way undermine TToE. Find me a single scientifically proven, peer-reviewed published finding that undermines TToE and I will throw my lot in with you (once I understand your point).

>>I do not just point to the scientists I agree with, I read their papers and watch their videos, just as I have with those who have tried all my life to buy into the evolution theories.<<

Good.

>>Who here can tell me they read the whole articles and the evidence?

I read until I come across blatant apologetics or flat-out misunderstanding or purposeful misstatement of facts. Then I stop, as I did with the OP.

(still waiting on that list of names and quals btw)

I will read that scientific proof - can you provide a link?

Mere assertion on your part. If you don’t know science, just say so.

The list of names and quals?

Science doesn’t prove things - why do you think it does? FYI - ants have only been on the planet for 130 - 200 million years.

>> “Proofs” are a compilation of facts that give favor to a theory.and there certainly are a lot of “Proofs” towards creation theory, young earth theory, catastrophic events etc. Far more than any “proofs” toward evolutionary theory(s)

“Proof” is irrefutable, ironclad evidence. Both of you have piles and reams of tangential, VERY-circumstantial, and not-particularly-helpful evidence. Neither of you gets CLOSE to proving how or why life began.

Nobody, save God Himself, knows precisely how the Universe was created. And, regardless of the quantity of extremely tangential scientific or archeological evidence gathered for any random theory, nobody this side of the afterlife ever will.

You’re digging for answers to axiomatically unanswerable questions. And, ultimately, you’re spinning your wheels about irrelevant trivia.

Your complete misunderstanding of science and its tools, definitions and methods, doth not an “argument” make.

The list of names, please?

Also, I assume you will withdraw your false accusation of me doing the insulting on this thread?

Knock yourself out. Lots to read there, whether you agree with it or not. But you have to read it do even do that.

In fact one of the claims in this book, “Liquefaction” has been observed many times now, and how it can reorder a fossil record, making the fossil layer”s “order of history” very suspect. Older fossels burying newer ones happens every time we have mudslides during rainy seasons.

You will find there is no affirmative information on that page, but rather a lot of philosophical blather attempting (weakly) to poke holes in hard science.

I have a site here with as much depth and probably more logic: http://www.astrology.com/

I asked for access to the scientific papers you claimed existed - please provide access to those scientific papers.

>> My question is when are those who believe in evolution going to read the scientific findings of those who disagree with evolution?

My question is — why should I care? What difference does it make? Personally, I think it is a trivial debate which has a tendency to draw in and distract well-meaning Christians.

Christians often seem to think they are required to have a neat-and-tidy answer to every one of life’s unanswerable questions. But, honestly, it is okay to simply say “I don’t know”, and move on to more important matters. The truth is — we DON’T know. And, they don’t know either. I’ve never understood getting in knock-down-drag-out debates over unanswerable questions.

Read whatever interests you, certainly. But, getting in pissing matches over “evolution vs. intelligent design” isn’t particularly useful. The answer may very well be “both”.

Sure - If a cost is involved I am sure he will tell me ahead of time after all - that is the honorable thing to do.

I will do no such thing. Your condescending attitude and mokery is clearly evident even on this thread .

Look up the list of names yourself. Again I must ask, Have your internet skills not yet “evolved”?

Once had a priest tell me that a day (as in the bible) may not mean our 24 hour day... in the beginning all was dark. (no day) God said let there be light (still no day) then night and day were separated. (now we have day and night) but no indication of how much time was involved. The earth was covered in water and a “dome” separated the waters (could dome be continents?) The book seems to be poetry to explain creation....But it did happen in stages according to the bible..It was not just boom, everything at once. The last thing created was man...I have no problems with creation or the times it took to create everything. Only have evolution problems with one type of living creature turning into another kind...IE: slime into elephants...that takes more faith than I can muster..
