Leonard and Phil Chess, two Polish born immigrants, founded Chess Records the pre-eminent Blues label of the 50s and 60s.Eventually they created a monopoly of Chicago music recording, doing sessions and releasing recordings by every major blues performer from John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, "King of the Slide Guitar", to Bo Diddley through Jimmy Reed, Chuck Berry and everyone in between.

Ah, more memories. I remember "Walk Away Renee" from my freshman year in college. The (French) group learned the words of the song phonetically, not understanding them.
Besides strings and a flute in the accompaniment, listen for the harpsichord.

To: AZamericonnie; unique
It is indeed a unique creation....I've got a couple really cool new ones for this weekend. He is good and is a huge supporter of our troops. His Marine son gave all. Thanks, Marine, for your service to our country.
