Howdy - I need a dose, thanx.
A Blessed Easter to you and all too.....THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING to POST these pictures and memories....it keeps me hopeful for a NEW beginning....
These are such cute pictures. Thanks, Snugs.
snugs, thank you SO MUCH for posting all the wonderful pictures of President and Mrs. Bush. Yes, those were the days....the good days.
I smile when I see these pics but, I must admit, I also get sad....I miss him so much. When President Bush was in Office, I felt secure and knew he genuinely cared about his country and good people of other countries and he was not afraid to make difficult...even if unpopular....decisions that would protect good, innocent people. I have no such confidence these days.
Happy Easter to you and your Dad. I pray he will be blessed with improved health and strength.
Because he was in hospital and not really eating properly on Christmas Day I decided if he was home with me and able to eat it we would have Christmas dinner on Easter Sunday.
We had roast goose followed by Christmas pudding.
snugs and Dad!!!
Proving once again that it's Christmas SOMEWHERE in the world, every day!
Many thanks Snugs. Just lovely reminders. Blessed Easter to you and your Dad.
Snarly
THANK YOU so much for the photo retrospective of Easter at a real White House with a real President!
I hope you and your dad enjoyed your belated Christmas dinner!
N,
I thought you’d enjoy this thread, has some wonderful pictures.
Eleanor, what GREAT news to hear your Dad is a lot better!!
And, what a good idea to celebrate Christmas AND Easter....a double good day!! I bet your Dad was really happy to have his Christmas pudding. I’m so happy for you both!
I think I’ve mentioned that I care for my Mom who has cancer. Considering all, she is doing ok. She cooked sweet potatoes and several different vegetables today (I cooked the ham....and we’re all still alive...lol!). When she has a good day, I have a good day......I think you understand.
Stay well, Eleanor and give my best regards to your Dad.
(((((God Bless)))))
