During a segment on Fridays Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull program, CNN tried to perpetuate left-wing stereotypes about gun owners, and sent mixed messages about whether or not President Obama and his administration is pushing for gun control. Correspondent Sean Callebs interviewed two Texas professionals who owned guns and concluded, A nurse, an attorney -- not the usual portrait of Second Amendment diehards. After asking a gun store owner if he was profiting on this fear of new gun control measures, Callebs expounded on the concerns of gun owners: In fact, it may not be rational at all. It might even be paranoid. But one thing is certain. Many gun owners believe this president is somehow out to curb their rights and theyre stocking up just in case.
Both Callebs and CNN senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin tried to assure their viewers that gun control was way off the agenda right now of the Obama administration, despite the fact that a graphic on the news crawl stated plainly that President Obama wants to make expired Assault Weapons Ban permanent.
The CNN correspondent traveled to Tyler, Texas, one of those places all over America where a kind of quiet call to arms is getting louder and louder, as he put it. Besides interviewing the lawyer and the nurse, he visited a local gun store, where he skeptically asked one of the employees of the store, Why would someone own a semiautomatic weapon like this? I mean, is saying its my right, is that enough?

BINGO!
Campbell: Brown as Bull$hit
Yes, I made a mistake... it was the cnn reporter I should have referenced.

Yes, I made a mistake for certain.

I'm going to put it on my various gun forum homepages.
Here's another good one I found:
He is talking about micro stamping ammunition with a serial number. So far I think CA is the only state to vote for such BS. I may be wrong.
Well actually revolvers are not self loading, or semi-auto, their chambers are preloaded by the user and then brought under the hammer by user action. A self loader pertains to the gun loading the chamber without intervention of the shooter as long as the magazine has ammo in it. Pretty thin line but still by definition revolvers are not self loaders.
We have the right to carry and f*** this reporter, and all reporters who think similarly, and the horse they rode in on.
I love semi-autos and revolvers, bolt actions, lever actions, pumps and single shots, not to mention muzzle loaders:).
New names ol stuff
Clinton News Network hasn’t forgotten how to play the fear propaganda game. Still using the milliom mom tactics from the 90’s.
I think you’re confusing “micro-stamping” and “Ammo coding”.
Microstamping involves etching a serial number on the firing pin and chamber wall to imprint on the case when fired. Only meaningful for semi-autos, which eject cases. California may have passed such a law, to take effect in 2010.
Ammocoding involves etching a serial number on the base of the bullet. Legislation mandating that has been introduced in twenty-or-so states, but has gone nowhere, to the best of my knowledge. Articles on this can be found by checking FR keyword “ammocoding”.
That was a good movie (the first pic)—i can’t remember the name of it or the main character—a wrestler...
It is still micro stamping because it takes micro stamping to etch the serial onto the bullet, but yes you are correct that CA has tried(not sure if they succeeded)in doing the casing micro stamping. So far bullet encoding(or microstamping)hasn’t been passed yet. However, that was what the guy was referring to and I was merely trying to answer a question asked. Take it up with the original commenter if you have a problem.

If that isnt enough is it a right?
I see you have a keen grasp of logic. I wish more Americans did.
Well said. It is more accurate to say, now, that we are no longer governed by liberals, rather by national socialist communal totalitarians. Last time they came to power was in the 1930s. It took a fighting war of global scale to bring western individualist freedom back to the world stage. Totalitarians cannot be bothered by the ballot box. That is why libertarian anarchism was founded. Watch for the dramatic return of anarchism on Wednesday at the Bank of England.
More and more Americans believe that the government has abandoned the defense their rights, including the right to make their vote count.
So while we still have any rights, many of us will take full advantage of the liberties while we still have them while the government tightens its grip on power reserved for the states and THE PEOPLE.

Thank you. I would like to think I should, as I am a CS major.
Quite true.
pssst . . . . . yes it is!!
And I also agree with that. The question is, when will the Obamoron go "too far"?? When he spends trillions of dollars we don't have on projects that serve no public function other than pushing a marxist agenda? When he kow-tows to and buddies up with our enemies to weaken and make us more vulnerable to attack?? When he unconstitutionally takes over a private, multi-billion dollar coporation and fires its CEO, then threatens other private corporations with the same??
Is there a magic neon sign that will light up that says "Too Far"?? When do we know that he has gone too far?? He has seized more power and extended the role of government to the such an extent that, in his first 60 days in office, America has been thrust must closer to socialism than at any previous time in our history. Things are so bad that France, Germany and China are all lecturing the Obamoron on the slippery slope of socialism that America is headed toward. So, how much more will we tolerate before he hits "too far"??
