I reserved for Friday, the 24th and for Saturday, the 25. This hotel is so intriguing, so enticing that I want to be there two days.
The gal I spoke to, Julie, told me the place is fabulous and the rooms are great. The rooms have hair dryers, a safe, a mini fridge, a coffee maker and a lap top computer you can use....and it's free.
She told me the five restaurants range from gourmet to moderate in price/casual in dress. Hamburgers, wings, all the sides, etc. can be enjoyed al fresco on tables near the pool. A wonderful buffet is somewhere.....I'll find it and check it out because I'm arriving a day early to scope everything including the visual wonders we're going to enjoy.
The reservation-making process went as smooth as chocolate cream pie. Our group room rate is as right as President Reagan.
Freepers, for a couple years you've been wanting a meeting or a convention. You've moaned, whined, complained and begged on the state forum. Now it's in the works. Who knows when there'll be another. Don't miss out on this gathering of truly conservative eagles to get to know and to interact with.
Meet the witty, talented, brainy and good lookin' freepers whose posts you've enjoyed forever.
Pick up your phone right now, dial 1-407-586-000 for this fabulous freep. Tell her you're with the Free Republic convention.
You'll be SO happy you called, I guaran-damm-tee ya.
See ya in Orlandy, Mandy! We'll greet you in the lobby, Bobby! Please make that phone call now!

Take a look at the pictures of the hotel rooms I found! Wow! I'm kind of jealous that I won't be staying overnight myself.
Glad you had smooth sailing getting through reservations. Hopefully everyone else is getting theirs done just as easy.
