Police say suspect behind two separate shootings involving officers
OAKLAND, Calif. - Four officers were in critical condition and a suspect dead on Saturday after gunfire at a traffic stop led to a massive manhunt that ended in a shootout, police said.
Two officers were shot in the first incident just after 1 p.m. after they stopped the suspect's vehicle in east Oakland, said Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason.
The suspect fled the scene on foot into a nearby neighborhood, police said, leading to an intense manhunt by dozens of Oakland police, California Highway Patrol officers and Alameda County sheriff deputies.
Streets were roped off and an entire area of east Oakland shut to traffic.

I’ve a 17 year old grandson who really seems to doubt some of my stories of “how it was”........
I’m convinced we had the best of all possible worlds....which now seems to be lost to a society I don’t even recognize as American........
Seems like we were all looked after by personal angels during those years.
And the local cop hating bucket mouths will try to tie this in with the BART incident, trying to convince the easily led that this is all a result of citizens lashing out at police brutality.

I am absolutely, positively convinced we can have our Civilization back. But it means that we have to take it back, bit by bit, slice by slice, piece by piece, incrementally once step at a time.
The same way we’ve been losing it.

Nope. I was just able to open it...unlike EARLIER when I had to confirm my age by pressing a button.
This person, and others like him/her are the reason we have 4 cops killed, gangs ruling areas of every city, an idiot in the White House and appeasement to terrorists.

How many of those officers were from Oakland?
The suburbs should not be policing Oaktown.
Maybe this guy was fed up with the OPD, the biggest weapons carriers in the city. Who knows what the police said to him, how they treated him. Will we ever know? The police are the ones who hold all of the evidence, write the reports, investigate corruption...
The police ruin peoples lives everyday. They send fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers to jails/concentration camps. They take OUR money to do evil.
What if every police station in Oakland were instead a community center with free food and health care?
This man may have killed 3 cops, but think about how many lives those cops had already taken. Police do the devil’s work and shouldn’t expect immunity.

yeah, like free food and health care is going to stop a career criminal who is wanted for probation violations from killing a few police officers because he is not going back to jail and plans to take a few innocents along with him.... I’m sick of this give me attitude, it’s what’s ruining this country.

Youtube will ban/censor an anti-Obama video quicker then you can say Bailout! but celebrating the deaths of 4 Police Officers gets a free pass.
At least they did stop further comments about the video....
