During her first visit to Egypt, as Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton's statements were understood as green light to Mubarak regime for more killing of Egyptian Copts. Afterwards, the regime didn't waste time, and immediately committed more crimes of killing Christian Copts. Contrary to President Obama calls for Human Rights respect, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton played down the value of raising human rights concerns. In a press conference held in Egypt last month, she set aside a reporter's question about an official state department report that noted "serious abuses" of human rights in the Egypt. Implicitly undermining the annual report of US Department State for Human Rights around the World, Mrs. Clinton said "We issue these reports on every country," "We hope that it will be taken in the spirit in which it is offered, that we all have room for improvement." More encouragement for Mubarak's regime to go ahead in its plan to remove the Egyptian natives from their home land, she added "that the report would not interfere with plans for Egypt's authoritarian president, Hosni Mubarak, to visit Washington. "I really consider President and Mrs. Mubarak to be friends of my family. So I hope to see him often here in Egypt and in the United States," she said.
Such praising statements to despotic, and tyrant regime of Egypt is a severe blow to hopes for a new approach to Human Rights Issues, Freedom of Religion , and Racism In Egypt, under the Obama administration. However, it's also a blow to President Barack Obama's commitment to promoting human rights and democracy abroad as foreign policy replaced former administration in positions of influence in the current Administration. These double talks and visions between the White House, and Department of States in Human Rights issues will send the wrong message, and create confusion to the rest of Middle East countries, whether they are friends, or foes. In fact it's damaging both, national security, and US interest.
Thanks to the wisdom and spirit of the American people, now we have a President, who is smart, articulate, and carrying strategic views to change old failing policies and clear the confusion of such statements.
ACU fully retain respect and confidence in President Obama and his Administration. Our country now faces terrible challenges abroad as well as at home. Like all Americans, we continue to pray that our president can successfully lead us in overcoming them.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton reacts, after a press conference at the end of the Gaza reconstruction conference in Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt, Monday, March 2, 2009. International donors pledged $5.2 billion to rebuild the devastated Gaza Strip and boost the Palestinian president at a conference Monday, and they pushed the Palestinians to end their divisions and revive the peace process with Israel
Ping!
This woman is going to leave a trail of bodies behind her as she travels the globe...just as she did here in America.
Hillary! She’s International!
Pity.
“Thanks to the wisdom and spirit of the American people, now we have a President, who is smart, articulate, and carrying strategic views to change old failing policies and clear the confusion of such statements.” “Like all Americans, we continue to pray that our president can successfully lead us in overcoming them.”
Oy. Yeah. Good luck with that.
I truly despise these people. Dear God, deliver us from evil.
Three more visits and speeches and maybe she can polish them all off.
They only care about the Human Rights of NON-Christians it would appear...
God bless the martyrs, and may He lead those who did this into snares of their own making!
Human Rights = Gay
