RICO, RICO, RICO. It’s Orange Jumpsuit Time!
what do they have on him?
.
It is rare that I can applaud the MSM liberal press but:
CNN
NYT
WaPo
All reported that the White House, Senate, and House meet secretly and decided to strike the revocation of bonuses (by AIG) from the bill -
CNN has cornered and nailed the Hussein II thugs before on lies and deceptions
Even these 3 very liberal news organizations do not want to be caught covering up for Hussein II’s
The veil of deceit is slowly falling away in liberal journalism
I would have loved to have sat in on the budget meetings at the NYT and WaPo and the production meetings at CNN
I also believe I heard that CBS was reporting this (but I could be wrong)
Yes - they are libs - but this time it appears that went up against Temporarily Present Hussein II, Chrissy Dodd, Barney Fwank, Nazi Pelosu
Also - Tim Turbotax had said that the AIG “retention bonuses” were contracts that could not be reversed - existing laws in some states call for a double penalty if they are -
Any corrections or additions are welcome here:
Senator Dodd was quoted as saying, “It was the strawberries!”
Dodd should resign.
Has anyone stopped to consider that Dodd may be a hero in all this? After all the trillions of dollars of TARP, Stimulus, Omnibus, Budget ... Finally some money ($165 million) will get to people that might actually stimulate the economy!!!!! Think of this as an accidental tax cut (or welfare for the rich)
Surely the Fumbling Bumbling Idiots can charge and arrest Dodd for something here.
Obama is making history by going on a talk show.
So we didn’t have time to read the stimulus, execs flying in jets are bad, and he’s this great orator who can’t talk without a teleprompter...
It’s been said a thousand times, but it can’t be said enough. Obama is a child. He likes playing president, getting cheered and applauded, and Leno will lather him up good.
Meanwhile, we’re going through “the worst economy since the Depression” or whatever it is today. (Hold on, it’s Thursday tomorrow, so is that “worst ever” or “things are looking up, invest!” day?)
He signs bills that throw money from hardworking people—and yes, some tiny number of rich people who’ve figured out how to make tons of money, big freakin deal—at people who don’t work at all. He throws money from people who pay their bills so people who don’t can pay theirs, which will hold them awhile until more bills come along.
And we have the spectacle of Republicans flopping around like fish out of water because they can’t decide if they want to be Rockefeller country club get-along types with democrats, who will always hate them, or if they want to be true conservatives and keep government out of the way of people who are doing the unspeakable—trying to live their lives their own way, without anyone interfering with them or forcing them to share what is theirs under threat of reprisal.
Christopher Dodd “comes clean” on something he should never have done. Big effing deal. Barney Frank and the rest of the democrats are up there, without having run a candy store, tossing around TRILLIONS of dollars THEY DIDN’T EARN and lecturing US about how we shouldn’t be selfish. Meanwhile, Dodd is involved with shady loans, Obama had the lot next door bought conveniently by a criminal, Frank was screwing someone who helped cause this crisis...
Obama is a seriously silly man put in a position where he can do lasting damage. And America applauds his audacious move of during time of crisis: appearing on a talk show. The democrats are giving money that isn’t theirs to people who didn’t earn it. And America doesn’t rise up and demand Dodd and Frank not only resign but are investigated.
No room left under the bus!
The committee by the way that no republican was permitted to be part of.
Well, hell, the Obamassiah isn’t about to take responsibility for the fiasco. He’s never taken responsibility before, he’s not about to start now.
People in CT won’t require Dodd to take a fall, but they made his father leave in favor of Lowell P. Weicker, Jr., nearly forty years ago. Weicker proved worse than the first Dodd. People in CT don’t understand.
Does this mean Connecticut has a vacant seat???
Dodd...take Grassley’s advice...please.
Going by the other post, they’re throwing each other under the bus... or taking turns. Fun to watch. Hope they both get a good taste of the tire treads.
Oh does no one else read the bills they vote on? The responsibility lies with them all.
