It is Bribery!
Thats why I want him and others like him, Dem and Repubbie PUT ON TRIAL! Damn it there will NEVER be any accountability if there is NO PUNISHMENT! It will only continue. That and a single term limit, so NO ONE can rig the system like this. I have to point out that its largely Democrats responsible for this, but Repubbies have their fingers in the pie as well. As long as there is no punishment there will continue to be crime.

So does Leno have the balls to ask Obama about it?

Half of congress should be under arrest right now as far as I am concerned. Dodd, and Pelosi and Fwank are all vying for top spot on that list.

I placed this in Breaking News initially. It since has been removed. Should this not be in breaking news in light that it is just being reported and Dodd has admitted guilt when he had lied yesterday saying he was not at fault?

"It was an honest mistake. America needs patriots like Dodd, so rather than ask him to resign, we are going to give him a medal for his honesty."- expected press release from the White House tomorrow morning -

The bottomline is even though Obama, Geithner, etc. are proclaiming that they only learned abou this two weeks ago they still are tacitly admitting that they let the bonuses get paid then only two days ago put on a faux outrage, trying to give the impression they just found out about this.
I know this is a waste of time to say this but the Pubbies have a HUGE opportunity to push for a variety of answers. When did Geithner know about this? When did Obama? Why did billions of bailot dough go to pay off international banks that not only had defaulted (French) but also were found guilty and fined (Switzerland's UBS) for purposely hiding 20 billion dollars for 50,000 well-heeled American "taxpayers".
And the real kicker is that UBS admitted their crimes and paid a 780 million dollar fine...via bailout money given to them through AIG.
BTW - Drudge has a headline that Obama will have a primetime news conference tomorrow. I'll be curious to see what Obama's Teleprompter (The O-Prompter as it would be) has to say.
