A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obamas upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obamas numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.

Travel between B.C. and Washington state was not documented in the 1960’s so if Ann Dunham came across the border as the passenger in a car in August of 1961 there would be no record of it! When a car approached the boarder between the two countries they would stop, a border guard would ask the nature of the visit and as often as not simply wave the car and passengers through without even asking to see any documentation. If they did ask for any documentation they would ask to see the driver’s license but they paid no attention to the passengers at that time! I experienced this many times in the 60’s as did other Freepers.
It was like that when we went into Canada in the 80’s. Just drove through the gate, answered a few questions and did the same on return.
Correction:
I got Okubo mixed up with Fukino.
Fukino never said Obama was born in Hawaii in her public statement.
I was not aware of the Okubo statement “in an email” etc...
I would like to see the email they are referring to.

Did anyone say it was?
Of course that still contains quite a bit of supposition. But, if BHO had been born in Seattle, why hide that? Last I looked Seattle, and even as far north as Bellingham or even Blaine, was still in the US.
No but the Swamp writer is lying, and you probably are too.
That Chicago blog Swamp blog story has more holes in it than cows makes stink patties.
You'll notice the the quoted "Yes" stands alone. Yes to what? That stars twinkle and Kieth Olbermann is gay.
Notice there is no word for word transcript but the lying interpretation of the author, which makes this Swamp article smell like BS.
Hawaii's Direct of Health Fukino never said Obama was born in Hawaii in her official statement on 31st of October, 2008 for which this stupid article is referring to.
That Swamp reporter is playing word games that the lefty loons swallow.
“Well, Ill pose the question to you. The piece I posted a link to is not to be believed? Why?”
Well, I would like to see the email they refer to, or is it locked up with Obama’s vault B.C.?

SCREWING VETS IS AN ISSUE WHICH CAN MOVE ELECTIONS. COLB IS NOT.
WHAT ARE YOU FOCUSED ON?
Getting him out of there, before he can do even MORE damage
That is beyond your power. Only Congress can impeach and you are nor in Congress. Now if you want him out you have to re-take Congress which means winning in 2010.
Which leads me back to the point—focus on issues which can move the electorate and get GOPers elected to Congress.
See post 406 for the right answer.
Good job!
It’s very rude to pop up and demand that people verify stuff that’s been verified over and over since last fall. You do the work and find out. Even if I had a link I’d be inclined not to post it. If you’re so interested spend a few hours searching on FR and reading up yourself.
Then follow your own advice. Which, BTW, you are not doing, by re-posting this old article that you authored your very own self, and then posting on the thread. How is this helping the vets, eh? Get going, write articles about 0bama’s evil agenda, you’re wasting precious time!
Those birth announcements would have been triggered by the filing (actually the acceptance thereof) of the birth certificate. You'll notice that all the announcements have the same format. However, unlike those in my home city paper, they don't give the hospital's name. Thus there is no way to tell if the birth certificate lists a hospital and was filed by a hospital, or by his mother or grandmother.
In those cases it's sealed from folks who could normally access it, such as the person themselves, and the adoptive parents and other relatives.
But Hawaii law provided for only a short list of persons who are eligible to receive a copy of a "vital record" which included marriage certificates as well as birth certificates. John Q. Public is not on it. However a court order can give access to a court.
Not hardly all of that. Only the part about a fraudulent birth certificate, or more precisely one with fraudulent information as to place and/or date of birth. And that would be easy in 1961, when home births were hardly unheard of. That's all Mom and/or Grandma would have needed to do, file for a birth certificate, listing the (fradulent) location of birth, and signed by Mom with Grandma as witness. Makes pie look complicated.
The rest would flow from that. The filing would trigger the newspaper announcement, just as filings triggered the other announcements in those same editions the two different papers. That's why the formats are the same.
For the rest the laws and regulations of the state of Hawaii provide the "cover" which prohibits access to the birth records by other than a pretty short list of persons.
Would there be a picture of that somewhere?
That is entirely misleading. If he was not eligible in the first place then he is not a legitimate president, so its not a question of impeachment. Pretenders don’t need to be impeached. They are removed by law enforcement.
Last time I checked, Africa did not have a 14th amendment. Thus, dropping Bambi in Mombasa would not have added anything significant to his prospects of becoming a leader in that continent. Whereas, dropping him in Honolulu was necessary to his future becoming Leader of the Free World. Not that any of this was occupying Stanley Ann's befuddled eighteen-year-old mind.
You'll notice that all the announcement have the same format. None say *where* the child was born, not even what city, let alone what location within that city. They were triggered by the filing of the birth certificate, however that was done.
