AT a flail-and-wail House hearing last month, California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters melted down in front of big banking CEOs. "Raise your hand! Raise your hand!" she shrieked as she harangued the executives on their business practices and management of federal bailout money.
Sneering at the "captains of the universe," whom she refused to address by name ("You, Bank of America!"), Waters excoriated the corporate heads for their greed. "All of my political life," she bragged, "I have been in disagreement with the banking and mostly financial-services community because of practices that I have believed to be not in the best interest always of the very people that they claim to serve."
As you'll soon see, however, the ethically conflicted Waters has her own special definition of what's in "the best interest" of the people she claims to serve. While she crusades against crony pseudo-capitalism, she is one of its most hypocritical beneficiaries and advocates

Please, Republicans, start noting and recording the hypocrisy. Americans have a right to know what’s going on, and the MSM won’t be the ones to tell them.
When I see, or hear black gang members, like Maxine Waters, I immediately lock on to that "N" word, load it onto my tongue, and hurl it out into space.
After all, Maxine Waters is the personification of one dumb a$$ "N".
Not to mention the ubiquitous “B” and “C” words as well.
In fact, being 68, I would say I have spent over 60 years collecting and polishing them.
Can't seem to pass them on, so I will take them with me when I go. Uttering a few choice ones as I depart. ;)
Was there not one Republican at that hearing with the guts to put her in her place? Her hypocracy is stunning but the non-response from Republicans is mind-boggling. Another reason I can no longer support the Republican Party with time or money.
The most amazing part of this story to me is that someone actually married Maxine Waters.
You, sir, remind me of that observation, “every time an old person dies, it is as though a museum has burned to the ground”.
Not saying you’re old! I’m sixty myself. But it’s hard to pass on all the valuable details of one’s life’s experiences to succeeding generations.
Anyway, Maxine Kerosene is a screaming hypocrite. Wish one of those CEO’s had said, “Madame Congresswoman, I don’t have to listen to you talking to me like that!”
That’s Marxine Waters in my book.
Her hypocracy is exceeded only by her democrisy.
They dare not because they have been neutered by the troopers of the political correctness movement.
May they continue to flounder in the metrosexual mud of their own making.
“Not to mention the ubiquitous B and C words as well.”
Ain’t it great to have freedom of speech?/S
Can you imagine if it had been Conyers? Talk about having kids that are the “spawn of Satan!”
While I fully understand frustration at the Republican’s fear of facing down loud mouthed Maxine, in this case, silence benefited them.
By allowing Maxine to spew forth her hypocritical stance on banking and her overt nastiness towards others, she’s cast herself into a net of perfect GOP ammunition and public condemnation. Even the drive-by’s had a hard time justifying her meltdown. As more of her corruption is reported, more of the public is waking up to “why, when and how’s” being asked of our current economic problems.
Now, if the news media does not continue to report on her ties to millions of banking dollars we indeed should vent our anger at them. If Republicans allow the opportunity Waters handed them to pass, THEN we need to scream from the rooftops.
The more Maxine opens her pie hole, the true intent of the Dem party with all their corruption and hatred is on full display for public view. Let her rant.
Reminds me of Paul Larkin.
The media believed the vilification of Bush along with anything Republican/conservative would sway the public to their side. By performing the largest and most dangerous test of herding sheep, the media triumphed. The public fell in line marching to the liberal drum.
Once the sheep were gullible and ignorant the promotion of Obama as messiah began. As more of the public wakes up and questions the administrations actions, the old media, in order to survive, is being forced to change tactics.
Behind every media outlet, profits rule. As the American people are slowly realizing the destruction wrought against our country by this president, more the blame is being hoisted at the media for their failure to vet Obama properly. How much longer can the MSM sugarcoat and protect their cronies in Washington before an even larger percentage of Americans distrusts their reporting?
