That’s because he has never been a Veteran and never could be. He couldn’t pass the security tests.

I am not sure there would be an organized resistance of any kind no matter what they do. I think they could announce the rounding up of conservative christians for concentration camps and no real action would be made to stop it

“if its sent to congress?

maybe they will find a backdoor way to do it.”

Of course. Just stick it in the next stimulus bill, publish it the night before the vote and vote on it. All the congress folk can wring their hands that they didn’t know it was there and the stimulus was far to important to read before passing.

How many insurance companies will pay for claims that result from "acts of war, declared or undeclared"?

I don't know of any.

Perhaps, but DISABLED Vets is the key phrase here ... no way should these costs be offloaded onto private insurers who would then subrogate those costs back to the right place, the US Government. All this would do is add ANOTHER layer of bureaucracy and cost. Sorry, we have a moral AND legal obligation to our disabled vets. Why doesn’t Shineski understand this /rhetorical - no answer necessary

So much for “that awful Pres. Bush” (as the libs and media portrayed him)who had a heart for and who would go and visit our men and women. Obama is an obomination but the liberals will stand behind him on why this is OK...Humanist say the ends justify the means.

My blood pressure is going thru the roof now!

Better not, since you have to pay for it out of pocket now....

You know, he's doing more and more, each and every day....taking us further and further down a path....

....to a ONE-term Presidency.

At this rate, Obama is doing so poorly I wouldn't be surprised to hear people say they miss President Carter being in the White House....that would be the ultimate insult.

Pres ent Obama....doing his best to make President Carter look good!

Welcome back, Carter!

These socialists have gone totally insane but socialism is insanity so I am repeating myself. I cannot believe that this is happening to our country.

Obamunism - “Ah, an, um... Health care is a right for every citizen in this great and once prosperous nation. Ah, um, er, unless you are a veteran who risked his or her life for our freedom”.

That shows what he thinks about US military veterans. Didn’t Obama promise better veteran’s benefits during the campaign?

"veterans are now rich?

Having once worked for a VA Medical Center, the veterans I worked with were a mix of poor, lower class, and struggling middle class. A very small percentage were moderately well off. 99% of these folks were non-officers and did not have good private health insurance. In any case, they are not given free treatment unless they have service-connected disabilities. They get a discount, but that's the LEAST we can do for the people who have served.

Why does that not surprise me?
