Sen. Specter says he's trying to lead the Republican Party If HE has to announce it, then he obviously ain't DOIN' it, and isn't capable of doing it.

That's it. I'm outta the republican party. Specter? Please. How much lower can the Republicans go? Next obomba will be claiming to be running the RNC. What's sad is the way things are going I'm more inclined to think obomba IS running the Republican party. What are you babbling about?

Specter:
I didnt want to be a negotiator, but no other Republican stepped forward. And our economic problems are enormously serious more serious than is publicly disclosed. And I think were on the brink of a depression.

Ok
I stand corrected.
He took some spending out so he could put his spending in!
Still, he could have pushed to put tax cuts in, and he did not.
What a jerk!

Specter needs to lead himself to his depends drawer, because the nonsense coming out of him is going to leave a stink. Deregulation of Wall Street didn’t cause the problems we are facing now. Government interference in the banking system to manipulate social engineering, and the unwillingness of Congress to enforce its oversight powers caused the problems we have now. What is Specter doing to correct the real problems? Nothing! Get rid of this conniving geezer, and the so called “intellectuals” who think he represents the way the Republican Party should go.

“When asked who’s leading Republicans, Senator Specter laughed and said he was trying to lead them, “moving toward the center, where Americans want to be governed.”
How about him saying instead. “Moving toward what will grow the economy and limit the burden government puts on the citizens.”
See how easy that was Sphincter?

Probably he’s itching to step into Juan McCain’s shoes, now that McCain is passé with the press.

Sorry to say, Specter has been pretty successful at leading the Republican Party - leading it astray, but leading.

I hope that turncoat learns to appreciate just how much harm he did to my children and grandchildren. I can’t imagine any worse punishment than for him to understand the implications of his cowardly betrayal. [The strange thing is that if he did understand, I’d forgive him ... never forget, never vote for him, but no longer regard him as irredeemably evil at the level of Obama.]
