I remember at least as far back as 1989, groups saying, "if we don't save the environment within 10 years, it will be too late." If they were right then, it's too late. If they were wrong, why should we trust them this time?

“Prince Charles said....”
‘nuff said.

I was getting worried, but now that Charles is beating the "never let a serious crisis go to waste" drum I am convinced that everything will be fine.
This is business-as-usual for the bureaucrat set.

'e's a twit, 'n starkers ta' boot.
His relevance ceased when Diana Spencer divorced him. Only hope for the English monarchy is that his mother outlives him.

"less than 100 months to act"Can't he just 8 1/2 years or does that not sound ominous enough?

Charles will never be king and Algore will never be president.
Gotta find a new career.

You know, Europe has been here before, though the case was probably inverse: in Germany in the 1880’s, the capable Hohenzollern was Fritz, who became very ill and died after having ruled only a few years. His father ruled erratically for decades and was an emotional wreck whom Bismarck easily dominated and often brought to tears. His son Wilhelm, well, Wilhelm’s rock-headedness was one of the key factors eliminating an entire generation of men from Western Europe.
What we have now is the reverse: Charles is the rock-head and we hope that either William or Harry has good sense.
Too early to tell, but given the stakes, I’m seriously praying that it all works out right.

How did he get to Rio? I think he travels by Magical Thinking. It's what this type specializes in.

And how much carbon is he expending on this propaganda tour? The Queen needs to live long enough that this bag of hot air is never king.
