Wikipedia users have scrubbed all references to homegrown terrorist William Ayers and the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright from Barack Obama's entry at the online encyclopedia.
Apparently, any information posted about Ayers or Wright in the text of the Obama biography is not only immediately taken down, but the offending user is banned for three days.
Such was revealed by World Net Daily moments ago:
The entire Wikipedia entry on Obama seems to be heavily promotional toward the U.S. president. It contains nearly no criticism or controversy, including appropriate mention of important issues where relevant.
For example, the current paragraph on Obama's religion contains no mention of Wright, even though Obama's association with the controversial pastor was one of the most talked about issues during the presidential campaign.
That paragraph states: "Obama explained how, through working with black churches as a community organizer while in his twenties, he came to understand 'the power of the African-American religious tradition to spur social change.' He was baptized at the Trinity United Church of Christ in 1988 and was an active member there for two decades."
Ayers is also not mentioned, even where relevant.

Obviously the changes won’t stick. But what cannot be altered can certainly be disrupted.
This is a call for a form of online civil disobedience. worldnetdaily’s already on-board, soon others will cover this as well.

Thanks for the ping, LucyT.
Somehow I knew a FReeper would have saved that. Didn’t know who until now. Thank you, ETL and stay safe.
BTW, the bio on the link is wrong. Annenberg was appointed ambassador to England in 1969, by Nixon, not 1968.
Apparently, according to the Obama campaign, In 1981 -- the year Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University -- Obama visited his mother and sister Maya in Indonesia. After that visit, Obama traveled to Pakistan with a friend from college whose family was from there. The Obama campaign says Obama was in Pakistan for about three weeks, staying with his friend's family in Karachi and also visiting Hyderabad in Southern India.
The traitors at Wikipedia should tell you everything you need to know. Our country has been infiltrated. Absent ardent and uncompromising resistance from patriots, they will eliminate all hope “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
They’ll delete this stuff but leave the ‘Bush Conspiracy on 9/11’ up. Simply amazing....
The brainwashed maggots only will understand their place in the Party, or in a gulag...there is no in-between for the Marxist Media.
Little of what I have on Wright, Ayers or Obama's other communist associations, comes from wikipedia, although they actually are often a terrific source for information on these far left individuals and groups, as well as for many other subjects. Nearly everything there is linked to a published source. I'm not sure who started this rumor that they couldn't be trusted. If you look at the wiki excerpts I do have on my FR page, you'd be hard-pressed to say they were 'covering' for the left. Sure, they have pieces that DO omit or slant, but, by and large, they are pretty good, based on my experiences in researching this stuff.
Oops! Forgot to say you’re welcome. :)
which makes sense for the governemtn to ban lead in ink and force books to be destroyed.
wikipedia can be changed on whim.
we need a deeper way to do a non left wing looney wikipedia.
What about the individual entry of Ayers and Wright?
They may have protected obama’s entry but they can’t protected all the collateral entries.
