That is not a statement I expected to read from a President in 2009
So true. But, since the President is Obama, it's well past time to lower your expectations.

We are to keep all monies in approved places where the great leader’s government has access - just in case he needs to spread it around for all our own good. That is all.

The President also added, “Don’t stuff your money in mattresses when you can give it to me.”

If it's in the Baily Brother Savings and Loan (your mattress), at least it's somewhere where Old Man Potter (CommieBama) can't get his hands on it.
However, when you try to SPEND it, you may be interrogated as to where you got it.
CommieBama has seen all of those old B&W films about the practice of communism...he knows how it's done.

Yeah, the time to cash out and stuff the mattress with it was about a year ago.

This from a guy who thinks a P/E ratio is a 'profits to earnings' ratio.

He can kiss my unmentionable. He’s not getting anything of mine, ever.
And don’t make me expound: I don’t like the idea of suspension. Suffice it to say, I didn’t vote for him, and I can hardly wait for the Tea Party.

Re: Obama being “off” his teleprompter. Good point. Have you heard this guy when he’s not reading the stuff they write for him? And Bush was supposed to be stupid?
In the middle of a banking/financial crisis he tells folks to not.....stuff your money in a matress? Is he nuts, simple, or an out and out communist.
If he wants to bring down the banking system this is a good start.

"Obama can not assure economy will (ever) grow again"
In fact, his policies, to date, are a virtual guarantee that the economy will never grow again.
The only growth industries will be; debt, despair, depression, and probably disease (as a result of nationalized health care).

Of course we shouldn’t stuff it it mattresses!
It makes a crinkly noise when you roll over at night.
Under a big, heavy flowerpot works better.

I’m just wondering if there’s been a change of heart among those millions of millionaires (and a few billionaires, like Warren Buffet, for Christ’s sake) who supported this zero? They way they groveled before this fast-tracked nonentity was truly appalling. There’s never been a time in human history when so many presumably intelligent people have been fooled on such a monumental scale. Frightening! Of course, the Fourth Estate was primarily responsible for this. Obama was foisted on us as a temporal incarnation of our Messiah, and mainly because, rather than despite the fact that he’s black (or rather half black). He is the first international affirmative action leader in history.

Don’t worry barry boy, I wouldn’t be stupid enough to stuff it in a mattress. It will be where you can never find it and it will be safe from you, water and fire.
