The Bush Admin and Senator McCain warned repeatedly about Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac and what thus became the 2008 financial crisis -- starting in 2002 (and actually even earlier -- in the Clinton and Carter White Houses. Democrats resisted and kept to their party line, extending loans to people who couldn't afford them -- just like you would expect of socialists.
You mean like securing the border? Oh wait...
Lighten up dude.... your manly pounding on the keyboard is frightening little ole me...i’ll go have a drink now. ;)
I agree that it was one of his most offensive acts. But I honestly came to the conclusion the past few years that Iraq buried him. He went out on the limb, drew the terrorists and MSM fire, then found no WMDSs and spent near the rest of his administration after reelection straightening Iraq out, on political defensive, until economy crash. Americans were never warned by him how expensive or long it would be. That gave liberals and MSM everything they ever needed to destroy republicans.

Nice post thanks.
The biggest reasons Obama was elected: dumb voters, the MSM, and GW Bush's mishandling of the economy.
You’re gonna burn out at the rate you are going....i love posters like you..i get this visual of a big sweaty guy all red faced and cussing about 2 inches from the monitor..they come and go here at FR...btw there’s never an end to the amount of posters that will torment you....have a good one and watch the BP.
This is why I laugh at this forum's so called "conservatives".
How does a President "handle" an economy that relies on trillions of private sector transactions?
And now, the country is having to pay dearly for his behavior and actions.
Note especially how "Dems + Independents Leaning Dem" is more than 50% without even going after the Independents in the middle. Note how the Swing States went from strong GOP to Dem.
It takes a true Obama/Reid/Pelosi fan to like GWB's presidency.
Er, most illegals don't try to enter via roads and airports. A few with fake IDs try it.
Obama will be much worse than Bush on immigration enforcement, but that is faint praise for Bush.
Wow... I said “the border” not “the southern border”. I want the Northern border secured too. The ports as well. You can tell me the border is secured all you want but I live in southern California, and I see differently.
***LMAO. Like any of you would ever DO ANYTHING but hate Mexicans from anonymity on internet forums. Mouthy, dishonorable lazy dipsticks.***
Hate Mexicans? I worked with Mexicans in my dad’s pizza shop in high school and they were some of the most hard working funny people I know. I also happen to be in ROTC, so as far as being lazy and dishonorable...
I posted one sentence and a short after thought and from that you get that I hate Mexicans, am lazy and dishonorable, and am a “dipstick”. Okay...
Ok...i’m a numb-nutted fool...you feel better? You’re really coming across kinda goofy....learn from FR...laugh at some of the comments....it’s interesting times we are living in...you wanna hate me...knock yourself out....i’m done with ya.
Don’t it feel great to go on a spending spree...until the credit card bill comes?
Are you prosperous while spending, even if you can’t make the payments?
Bush is not the only cause of the economic crash, but he played a role. In 2004 Bush's SEC allowed Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley to shoot craps with investor money at 40 to 1 odds, and that loosening of regulation was a major factor in the acquisition of those "toxic assets."
I used to be a big Bush defender. I defended him from Edinburgh to Macau, and voted for him 4 times. And on some matters, I will still defend him, but not the economy.
