one more;
Is the FDIC sellling loans to flippers?
http://bailoutsleuth.com/
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said last week that it sold $1.45 billion in real-estate loans through partnership deals with two private bidders, unloading some of the assets of a failed Nevada bank.
One of the winning bidders was a generically named entity called Diversified Business Strategies. The press release provided no additional information, but BailoutSleuth found that Diversified Business Strategies was a limited liability company formed in May 2007 by a Salt Lake City lawyer and two real estate agents.
BailoutSleuth has been trying to get more information from the FDIC about how Diversified Business Strategies won the bidding, what it presented as its bona fides and whether it disclosed it would be selling the loans. The FDIC has not responded to our queries, nor have the other participants in the deals.
We will provide more information on this deal as we uncover it.

Oh my gosh! We loved Hampton Court! And the British Museum is the best. I also went to the V&A and had an enjoyable time. Joe, my hubby, enjoyed the Thor Hyerdal exhibit at the Museum of Man. So much history, great archicture (spelling) and terrific pubs.

Rush is NAILING the Ivory Tower of institutionalized stupidity.
I remember an attorney at a large firm saying he liked to churn ivory tower grads because he could milk their connections for a few years and once those connections had settled in the firm, he would dump them.
Rush is bullseye right about such students thinking they are smarter because of petigree.

Rush makes a salient pt. about the colleges Obama and Co., along with many Wall St. execs, went to. Not that the Ivy League doesn't produce grads with actual knowledge and sense but that they for too long have been very, very overrated in being the bastions of higher learning.
Eureka College produced our greatest president and he ushered in (at that time) the most prolific econ expansion in our nation's history. Now, just imagine what a lady from the univ. of Idaho could accomplish.

My first thought also was get your savings account out. With all the anti money laundering laws, does anyone know what types of obstacles I'd face if I were to try to empty my money market acct. in cash?
