Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid put it in no uncertain terms today: Senate Republicans want Barack Obama to fail.

“It’s very clear they’ve made a decision they want President Obama to fail,” Reid told reporters, listing of a series of Obama proposals Republicans have lined up against, including the $410 billion omnibus spending package before the Senate this week.

When asked to name specific Senate Republicans who wanted Obama to fail, Reid would only say a “number of Republicans.”

“It’s very clear,” Reid said. “Some have said so, others have acted accordingly.”

Lets give the RATS credit. Limbaugh handed them a weapon and they are using it to full advantage. Republicans are now on the defensive, clueless on how to respond and running scared (as usual). This is them seeding the media so that when obama does fail, they can blame the republicans.. Watch for more of this rhetoric. They always plant and seed thoughts and messages to cover all bases. If they succeed, they can take credit since it was obama’s plan. If they fail. They can say they failed because the republicans wouldn’t help.... Catch 22.. How do you fight back? We fight back by saying he has already failed and point to the market's tanking since he was elected. Over and over again just like them claim he has already failed. The administration has failed to instill confidence in the invenstment community and has failed to bring about an economic recovery.

Well, Dingy Harry...a real leader would know how to convince them to follow the brilliant strategy that BO has proposed: The way to fix a $1.4 Trillion budget shortfall is to spend $3.2 Trillion more, even though we don’t know if we can borrow that much from our enemies.
