"I hate it when the MSM keeps recycling the same story over and over. It’s like I got it the first 10,000 times. Jerks.

This is part of their strategy. Brainwashing.

We must remember to remember the true factual facts. I suggest we all write them down just in case the brainwashing starts working on us. We must not depend on our brains recalling everything correctly. There's so much happening right now, our heads are spinning.

Because, every network, broadcast or otherwise is consumed with the "What's the GOP going to do about Rush Limbaugh" crap.

That's not true.

Obama's not trying to silence dissent

Yes, he is.

Have a good one.

To actually believe what you’re saying, one
would have to ignore just a few realities:

###

Rush is a private businessman, not an
elected politician.

Polling comparisons, therefore, are ludicrous.

Folks volunteer to listen to Rush .. actually
they hunger for the righteous and uplifting truth
he never fails to deliver about the greatness of
this country and her enduring ideals, and the
blessing it is to be Americans.

The contrast between the messages of the two men
are millenia apart.

Folks are drawn to optimism, encouragement, and
a can-do attitude, not doom and gloom.

As Rush said, the majority of Americans and
their families live their daily lives fairly
conservatively.

The devastating effects of Obama’s agenda haven’t
even begun to hit the citizenry yet. Give it
8-10 months, and note the mood and anger of the
country.

Obama takes on Rush at his peril. Hint: Harry Reid

~~~
Most informed FReepers shouldn’t need some obvious
reasons described, but there’s a few to chew on.
Go, Boucheau ... ! And I agree. This is war.
The war between those who love America, as
we’ve known and cherished it, and a place we
won’t even recognize, if these radical leftists
get their way.
STARVE THE BEAST!!
With idiots like Steele, we might as well just quit.
That kind of thinking has alot to do with where we are now.
Rather, it reflects a cunning strategy on behalf of Obama that doesn't seem to be losing any effectiveness in the foreseeable future.
Can I borrow your crystal ball?
I think he’s using Rush to set up the sheeple for acceptance of the fairness doctrine.
Nah don't think so. I think Obama is going to go further than that, which is how he can say he doesn't support the fairness doctrine. I think they are going to go all the way and only zer0bama supporters and pocket media will be allowed to broadcast.
Excerpt:
With the White House working to make Limbaugh the face of the GOP, it is getting some outside assistance.
A tax-exempt group that supports progressive causes — Americans United for Change—is helping finance a television ad that claims GOP leaders are beholden to the radio host. The ad closes with Limbaugh saying of Obama, "I want him to fail."
*snip*
Brad Woodhouse, president of Americans United for Change, said the group has discussed the ad campaign with the Democratic National Committee. Woodhouse is joining the DNC next week as its communications director.
Asked whether the White House was notified about the ad, Woodhouse said: "They certainly are aware—I'm sure they're aware of what we're doing."
It is obvious that the Obamanites are fighting us on several fronts. We will win, of course. We have the truth on our side. The American people will wake up because the Obamanites will overreach in their effort to make the changes happen quickly. They have no idea of the ramifications of their agenda to the economy. Remember, the President always gets the blame for the economy. And we are going down. Way down.
“That kind of thinking has alot to do with where we are now. “
No, it is Republican Lite that has us where we are.
We have to be Republican Heavy, and damn heavy to fight
the enemy like ACORN, and the rest of the criminal
Democrap machine.
Being Mr. Nice Guy has taken a toll on us.
We can't forget that Obama has mythology on his side, the "rising from nothing to become president," "Hope" and "Change" and all that.
We also shouldn't forget, though, that his victory wasn't THAT overwhelming. Minds can be changed, no matter how much he tries to distract with releases of Bush-era CIA information.
The GOP can choose to panic and say “No, no, he’s not our real voice! Why would you say such a thing?” or they can start growing a backbone and calling out the WH on this crap.
Were I running the GOP I would use your quotations from Rules for Radicals. I would use them again and again and again, and come right out and compare Obama’s moves with that of the Soviets, without blinking or hedging when the worms from the MSM ask “Are you REALLY calling the president of the United States a communist?” and respond “I am merely showing the American people the facts. Unlike the president, we don’t try to tell people what to think.”
