So it’s one of those, “if he was offended” apologies”. So I guess if Rush wasn’t offended, then Steele isn’t sorry for anything he said. Give me a break.

Inarticulate? As opposed to “articulate”.
Steele should step down. The GOP needs a new boss.
Someone articulate. Someone who can stand up to the yard dog Dean. It’s long past time for niceties. The Dema are destroying this country.

I was maybe a little bit inarticulate.
There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership. Why do thoughts about "weasels" keep coming to mind?

I for one am thrilled that Rush is emerging as the face of the Republican party.
He’s been on absolute fire since the election. He’s turning heads, he’s ruffling feathers.
Someone has to stand up and take control of this pathetic party, and who better than Rush?
Let the Dems go ahead and pick this fight. They’ll lose.

Steele is weak and is a threat to real conservatism. I hope he just ended his RINO-esque political career by bringing a knife to a gunfight with one of our best shooters.

All Michael Steele and the RNC care about is M O N E Y and P O W E R, that is why the pseudo apology. Michael Steele's attacking Rush and telling people exactly what they really think of Rush and conservatives was a mistake. They realized TOO LATE that they are going to lose a lot of MONEY because we are not going to want to give to the very people who are selling us down the river and actually want Obama and his policies to succeed.
Sadly, conservatives are being betrayed by the very people who want us to support them and give them our money, time and talents to help their guys get elected or reelected.
To: Dan Nunn
This is the problem with people who are afraid to say what they believe. Steele wants to be liked, so he sucks up to whoever he is talking to and puts his foot in his mouth. Then he lies and gives a fake apology. I generally believe an apology under pressure is phony. I’m no longer a Republican. I’m tired of being associated with that bunch of sad sack elite liberals.

Well then you need to step down. Sucking up to liberals is NOT going to bring us all together.

Steele says it’s all a silly little oopsie AFTER he gets his ass handed to him. Too late, Mikey, you can’t unring that bell.

Steele to Rush: I'm sorry Rush to Steele: suck it.
To: Dan Nunn
Asked if he planned to apologize, Steele said: I wasnt trying to offend anybody. So, yeah, if hes offended, Id say: Look, Im not in the business of hurting peoples feelings here.
My job is to try to bring us all together. Plain and simple, that's not an apology in any way, shape or form.

I don’t want to be brought together with libtards. I want them defeated, so soundly that they are not a force for at least the rest of my life.

top Democrats are trying to make Limbaugh the face of the Republican Party, I cannot see how anything could be better than that becoming reality - the K street liberal lites who sold us out need to go as fast as possible.
The Republican Party has turned into the Rush Limbaugh Party.
To wit; "I can think of nothing better."

There’s a big difference between, “I’m sorry you were offended,” and “I’m sorry I was WRONG.”
