“Society should draw lines. What do you need an assault weapon for, if you’re going hunting? That’s overkill.”
Michael Stephen Steele

“Studies show enormous disparities still exist in education, healthcare, employment and economic opportunities along racial lines in the United States. I believe programs are still necessary to help close these divides. I support giving people opportunities. Programs must be fair to all Marylanders – of every color – and they should focus on economic empowerment.”
Michael Stephen Steele

Does the RNC have a recall provision?

I have not heard Rush's response, but I see little wrong with what Steele said. Rush's comments were intended to be incendiary and ugly. The words certainly were not complimentary.

These words were also supposed to light a fire under those conservatives and Republicans who are placidly floating along doing nothing.

“incendiary” and “ugly.” to whom?

In the first place, I'm sure that Rush doesn't want to be the leader of the Republican Party. He is, in fact, the leader of the Conservative movement in this country which, of late, has very little to do with Republicanism. Too damned bad, I might add.

I don't sit around making chit-chat with some jerk sporting two "ear bobs" and I'd be willing to bet that Rush doesn't either. Some of you may strongly disagree with this, but the few words that people like this get from me include a brief "hello" and "goodbye."

I, very lately, took Michael Steele as a very serious conservative. It appears that I may have erred.

Now it’s official: Steele is an affirmative action liberal mole. Goodbye RNC.

Steele dismissed Limbaugh as an “entertainer” whose show is “incendiary” and “ugly.”

I had higher hopes for Steele. He didn't just "dis" Limbaugh, he just diss'd me and about 20 million others. That, and he exposed himself as a lightweight.

Unlike some talk show hosts who seem to follow Repub talking points, Limbaugh is usually out ahead of them. Limbaugh is right way more often than the RNC leadership. For an entertainer, he is a pretty sharp analyst and philosopher. He is one of a kind. I don't agree with every word that comes out of his mouth, but he is right way more often than he is wrong.

The "ugly" remark is dishonest and way off base. Limbaugh is usually sharp in his analysis but I've seldom if ever heard him treat any listener with disrespect including and especially listeners who disagree with him.

Time to send another flaming email to Steele. The first was regarding Specter, Snowe and Collins. The republican party has lost my support. Do we need a RNC headquarters tea party? Dems aren’t the only ones spending our money on horseshoe crab research.

The Republican party, as a place for conservatives, is dead.

And we’re not buying his crap.

>> In a little-noticed interview Saturday night, Steele dismissed Limbaugh as an “entertainer” whose show is “incendiary” and “ugly.”

If this is true, I want Michael Steele to fail.

If not, Steele needs to correct this tripe.

Steele basically called conservatives ugly and incendiary. We aren’t welcome. Not a dime and good luck on ever voting GOP again. Let em cling to Obama’s coat tails on the trip down the collapse of the United States.

Here’s an idea:

The only way to maintain a conservative site is to start banning Michael Steele supporters.

This is the end of the Republican inside-the-Beltway, MSM-loving Party.

Hopefully the TEA PARTY will be the replacement.

Steele said this the day before:

The chairman of the Republican National Committee has shot down hopes by minority homosexual groups that the party will open its “big tent” to endorse “civil unions” or homosexual marriage.

“What would we do that for? What are you, crazy? No.” Michael Steele told radio talk show host Mike Gallagher.

No applause or appreciation, only apoplectic bitching?
