It seems if Obama was really a US citizen, it would have been a very simple gesture to show his birth certificate, but he has chosen to spend thousands of dollars on lawyers to keep from having to produce one. Hmmmmm...I wonder.

Sorry you cannot comprehned the simple written word. Reread the essay. This is not about geography it is about citizen parents. Besides, you make an assertion (why the grandfather clause was included) you do not substantiate with anything except your opinion that an anchor baby can be elected president, legitimately. No, they cannot, because the third level of citizenship is specifically about the office of president and a natural born citizen is all that is legitimate, not anchor babies, not naturalized, not non-citizens, only natural born citizens, those with TWO AMERICAN CITIOZEN PARENTS at the time of the birth of that individual.

The first thing it says is that being born in the US is not enough to be natural born, otherwise the grandfather clause would not be necessary. The writers and delegates, having been born in the US, wanted to be eligible for the presidency, but most were the children of British subjects.

The Founders were not born in the U.S., because THE FREAKING U.S. DID NOT EXIST WHEN THEY WERE BORN.

Secondly, if "being under another jurisdiction" through no action or choice of one's own disqualifies someone from being President, then that empowers Castro, Kim Jong Il, Imanutjob and whoever else in the world to control our presidency by unilaterally granting citizenship to their non-preferred candidate.

There are about a trillion good reasons to oppose Barack Obama, but this persistent lie is not one of them.

More than once I've see freepers shaking in their boots at the concept of the "black roiting". Maybe it's not meant in such direct terms, but it always seems to be an issue that might cower the rest of us from standing up for the Constitution and the rule of law.

I'm not saying that such an action would not be a formidible force to reckon with, but I'm saying that we fought much stronger and more numerous forces just to be able to draft and ordain the Constitution, without a constitution to depend on in the process.

If this man has lied his way into the Presidency, he has committed fraud - and I as an American don't give a damn what color he is, or how many riots come from it.

The rule of law is the rule of law...there should not be a set of "black laws" and a set of "white laws"...just laws.

EEO and political correctness has made us the slaves in the past 50 years, and I for one am about sick of it. We opted in, and have supported "equal rights", but the pendeleum has flip-flopped too far the other way.

As for the dollar tanking and markets collapsing...well, they're doing that anyway. With CommieBama at the helm, we're not only going to see the markets collapse...WE'RE GOING TO SEE AMERICA COLLAPSE.

We either fight, or we become serfs. It's the individual choice of each American. The "government" is not here to help, they are the problem and the time of "tyranny in government" - predicted in the Constitution by the establishment of the "of, for, and by" the people constitution - has come. This is where the 2nd Amendment kicks in.

And worrying about the coming "Constitutional crises"/????????? If CommiBama is not a legal President, then we are already in a Constitutional crises of the largest magnitude seen since the documents inception.

When are we going to stop sitting around wringing our hands in agony? The forefathers and the Minutemen are not coming back again...we are them now.

Insofar as the markets, it would seem to me that any and all bills (bailouts) signed by commieBama up to this point, would be moot if he is found to be an ineligible President. And, he is not even a Senator anymore...he'd be back to being a Community cellblock organizer.
