Vanity post, yes, but I have to wonder about the sound breaks in Bobby Jindal's rebuttal talk tonight and why they were there. I've never seen this before in years of watching these things, and it seemed almost deliberate. Does anybody know which network controlled the pool feed tonight on Jindal's response?

I get these sound breaks on Fox. Lately, it’s been the worst on FoxNews HD and FoxBusiness HD. Irritating!
I wish talk radio would quit trying to appoint people into positions of power. Jindal is a lightweight and looks like a goof. The MSM will make him look dumber than they did Palin.

I think we were watching two different people. Jindal’s message was fantastic. However his style of delivery became a little repetitive I think. Almost every sentence had the same modulation, somewhat like a bedtime story being read to a child. Also, he looked a little stiff when he walked up to the camera. No biggies. First time jitters I am sure. The real Jindal is nothing like that. Check his other videos on youtube.

A lightweight ? Name one governor from the current crop of governors who took a failing state and turned it completely around. And who in your mind is a 'heavyweight' ?
If he had been talking to an audience of 6 yrs olds.. it would have been fine.
The opening message gushing over the half-black Kenyan’s rise to power was disgusting and an insult to every American’s intelligence.
Some of the ideas were fine but, c’mon, he has no chance in hell of beating 0bama, none whatsoever.
I’m proud of the guy for what he has done with his state—behind him 100%.
But the election is ALREADY LOST, FRiend.

Well well, I’ve noticed on FR tonight that the media isn’t going to have to palinize jindal, we’ll do it ourselves.
In all seriousness, if Jindal had given a knock out speach, he, his family, all his friends and thier dogs would be critisized until the next election. Jindal is a smart guy and while the delivery may have been bad, the substance was not, i’ll give him that.
He was. He was terrible. saying that “what” he said was good isn’t enough. The Party needs a leader, and absent Bobby Jindal 2.0, he isn’t it.
Keeping in mind he was speaking to a national audience, many of whom dolts who had tuned in to watch American Idol. So the “dumbing down” may have been deliberate. He’s a completely different person on Hannity or in his stump speeches.

Oh cripe. God bless him, he meant well. But the speech and delivery were embarrassing. What is the GOP doing? They need some serious preparation and thought into their responses.
