Live thread.
Pathetic
I like Jindal even more now than I did before. I think he did great! Endless attacks easily backfire; he spoke to those who kicked the GOP out in 06 and 08 and identified the mistakes the party made. I think this will score some serious points. A rational, reasoned approach, instead of the rabid, bug-eyed attack that the libs expected.
I don’t get it—why did you hate it?
Jindal was sincere, accessible, his story is real...he is young, but that means not cynical—he is intelligent and projects deep-felt commitment
what would you like different?
Nice guys finish last

Jindel used a B B gun against this Evil Bastard.
No commie news network here. Glad to hear it was better, but it was terrible on Fox.
“Dear Leader can speak like a Ted Stevens from the Mary Tyler Moore Show”
Not to be technical, but “Ted Baxter.” ;-)
Mediocre, not one of his best. We need a real go getter that’s not afraid to attack. I like Tom Coburn or turn Sarah lose with no restrictions and no interviews with gotcha people that hate her.
Sorry guy, I’m not a fan. I say it like it is, and to be frank, I don’t care for her at all. If we don’t unite on a better candidate in 2012, we’re sunk because I and countless others like me in the party will never support Palin.
MSNBC were completely unfavorable to Jindal's response.
Not one positive thing that was said by any of them, Olbermann, Maddow, or Chrissy M.
Don’t worry. McQueeg is giving his own rebuttal in a live interview on CBS right now.
Why?
I noticed that, too. It’s also a bit jarring to hear that cadence/accent from someone that looks like that. It’s like when I see black guy in the UK talk with a british accent...takes a bit to get used to.
But it’s all good. I thought it was a fine speech. There’s really only so much you can do in a 10 minute or so response. It’s not exactly a huge platform.
Bobby's the real deal and I trust him.

Since they listened to their own feed I can believe that. The audio feed from Fox sucked big time compared to CNN.
But honestly, when has the Fox people ever given a Republican high marks for speaking in recent years. Even when McCain did very well in his last debate they gave it to ZERO. Fox can take it and stuff it with this group.
Well, apparently 53% of the electorate are third graders. Otherwise, how could Dear Leader have been elected?
Actually, Jindal’s speech kinda reminded me of Kathleen Sebelius’s response to Bush’s last SOTU speech. Stiff and boring.
I know he was talking about Obama’s speech style, but we don’t need to compare it to Reagan’s style.
I would expect the Libs to highjack the “Reaganesque” connection.
Instead, Krout just pulled the car up to the intersection, opened the door, got out, and yelled, “Anybody want to drive this?”
Sarah Palin, at the AK state house, with GOP assemblymen screaming their heads off on her entry would have been EPIC. I can see it being too early to do that in 2009, but if we don’t do that by 2011 we are truly stupid.
I have admit there are racist people here who will not support Jindal cause of his race.. I know it is harsh, but that is the truth. They won’t say it but look for clues in the wording.
