Brit said it’s always difficult to rebut a Presidential address — speaking styles are different, etc., and he admitted that reading the speech was much better than the delivery. He had to concede that this was NOT Bobby’s best. Kraut said following Obama, “who is a Reaganesque orator” == huh?? No comparison at all. Bottom line — Jindall failed to deliver.
As the media always does, instead of talking about what a bomb Obama dropped tonight, for the first time ever, the emphasis will be on the lackluster rebuttal.
Sanford’s a solid Republican governor, but he doesn’t have nearly the poise or the presence of Palin either.
