Ice Age or global warming?
Reuters ^ | 2/24/09 | Al Doyle

It looks more like an Ice Age than global warming.

There is so much snow in Oslo, where I live, that the city authorities are resorting to dumping truckloads of it in the sea because the usual storage sites on land are full.

That is angering environmentalists who say the snow is far too dirty – scraped up from polluted roads — to be added to the fjord. The story even made it to the front page of the local paper (’Dumpes i sjøen’: ‘Dumped in the sea’).

In many places around the capital there’s about a metre of snow, the most since 2006 when it was last dumped in the sea. Extra snow usually gets trucked to sites on land, where most of the polluted dirt is left after the thaw. Those stores are now full — in some the snow isn’t expected to melt before September.

But are these mountains of snow a sign that global warming isn’t happening?

Unfortunately, more snow might fit projections by the U.N. Climate Panel, which says that northern Europe is likely to get wetter and the south drier as temperatures rise this century.

Of course it fits. More snow, less snow, more/less rain, more/less hurricanes. The global warming POS charlatans will always be right that way.

I call it weather. The experts never could really predict it all that well, and they still can’t. Now we all know that it’s our fault for causing climate change which is the reason they can’t predict the weather.

It looks like Reuters didn’t get the memo-the enviro-whacko’s have quietly retired the term ‘global warming’ in favor of ‘climate change’. Even an enviro-MENTAL case eventually recognizes that the earth is cooling, not warming. The question they’ll never answer is ‘if greenhouse gases, generated by human activity, aren’t WARMING the earth, how is human activity causing it to cool?’ I guess the answer is ‘don’t ask questions; just believe!’

That is one thing to be grateful to Al Gore for.
He pretty much cemented in place “global warming” as the defining requirement of doom.
No matter how much they say “climate change”, everyone remembers Gore hyping warming and the entire movement is still defined by it.

That’s all well and good, but I’d like to know what the deal is with that guy in the helmet with the Norwegian flag on his face.

I think the rule is that you call it “Global Warming” in the summer when it’s warm, however in the winter on days that when record lows are set, then it’s “Climate Change”. In either case the remedy is the same - destruction of our standard of living, and for the true believers, destruction of humanity.

The phenomena of global-warming is two mysteries, one is the climate itself, the other is why people who do-not work for a living try to get us to believe in it!...I believe it is human nature which is really basic animal nature which is the instinct to dominate....Global-warming represents their right to dominate-you via government and yes, it is an conspiracy which if you believe-in, your a kook...It’s mind-control by institutions which have become like the alpha-wolf of the pack-called-humans.

An ice age would result in the starvation deaths of billions of people that the current warming has allowed to thrive. Warming good, cooling bad.

Where do they think it will go if it is allowed to melt naturally?
