Media baron Rupert Murdoch issued an urgent internal communication late Monday, warning his staff: "We are in the midst of a phase of history in which nations will be redefined and their futures fundamentally altered."

Thank you. It amazes me how historically “illiterate” these educated writers can be. Must have slept though every history class they had in school. Reagan would have told them government aid, no matter how enticing, is a trap and pull your own bootstraps. Just my opinion, of course.;-)
Thank you, wardaddy
Another reason the Clinton Administration was never aware of any terrorism is that he forced out some 40,000 intelligence officers (civilian and Military) in the first year of his Presidency.
It also doesn’t help that Clinton treated every act of terrorism like it needed to be investigated as a police-type action, and sent in the FBI! - and then didn’t do anything about it except to say that the offenders were going to be tracked down and prosecuted. Remember those trials? Right. There weren’t any!
I could continue - but it makes me so angry, I’ll quit before my Bp goes sky-high.
And - here we are, with a Socialist President who says he’s sending in 20,000 troops to Afghanistan but behind the scenes, tells the Pentagon to cut their budget by 10%.
I hope I’m alive to vote him out of office in 2012, I really do. But we’re going to need a reincarnation of Reagan, or a “Reagan-type” to lead us out of the morass of idiocy that BO will have perpetrated on this Country.
It has taken decades of concerted and coordinated effort for the pendulum to swing this far, cunningly presented as attractive to (and often driven by the radical naivetee of) youth.
Now, henceforth, we are the 'counterculture', our ideas and ideals have become 'revolutionary', and aside from the lure of rebelliousness, the thirst for freedom is as inherent as the desire to breathe, especially in youth who rebel against authority by their nature, seeking their place in the scheme of things.
Guard your children and grandchildren, plant the seeds of the future in their minds, remind them of the glorious times when freedom was the hallmark of America, and it will endure this long night.
Ping.
“actually I think the solution is fairly simple. deal with the old people. All you have to do is to kill everyone over the age of 80 and offer them the option of living in a cheaper country like the phillipines, thailand, etc with 1/4 the benefits they would get.
the retirement costs to society get cut by 75% or 100%, problem solved.”
Geeze, don’t give them any ideas!
