Short trip, long agenda: Obama visits Canada President, P.M. discuss slumping economy, trade, war in Afghanistan

David Boily

He's making Obama look like a sophomore in high school.

What an embarrassment.

Steve's too classy. He was raised with sense and manners.

True enough.

Gee, he’s been out of the White House almost every day since election, hasn’t he? Is it that he can’t stop campaigning, or maybe he’s being haunted by angry WH ghosts...?

Remember, he is the embodiment of the vapid response.

He holds the line on that.

He also thanked the Canadians that came over the border to help his campaign. Sort of a strange thing for an American President to say.

Well...having visited both locations, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between Iowa and Ottawa. Eh ?

Maybe he was thinking of Radar O'Reilly's hometown of Ottumwa, Iowa.

BTW, Mrs. Springman says HI.

LOL!

If he hit on me he’d get a swift kick where the sun doesn’t shine, and if he tried it on my daughter, I’D cut something off him.

He did however stop in the Byward Market on his way out of town. He bought a scarf for Aunt Esther, some Maple Leaf shaped cookies for the kids, and a Beaver Tail for himself.

He told the 17 year old girl that served him that he was going to eat it when he got back to Washington.

So, I guess, he did get some tail up here.

;-)

I note that you mention getting tail in your message, which, of course, naturally made you think of me.

Thusly the ping.

:)

1st, I gave Mrs. Springman your hug, hugs back.

Well if the most Barry took from Iowa/Canada were some cookies, be happy. Hope the Beaver tail wasn’t X-42/Laz would want ;-) (No offence Laz)

Well another week being layed-off, some one has to start buying cars again:(

Guess Barry hasn’t fixed the world yet.
